Seeing stuff about carrying a map and stuff, you can't take anything with you on scav can you? and compass? are you meant to navigate the map simply based on landmarks you see if you dont have a map

scav runs are you spawning in as a random scav who has a random gear setup/loot on him

in the middile of an already ongoing raid

you are essentially joining a raid that has already started with "free" gear, that may or may not be any good

its a risk-free way to learn and play early on and can still be good later on for looting

I'm happy to opine on specific issues but unfortunately item management is one of those things that's gonna need a big heckin learn
