Don't worry, players are still more dangerous and they will do things that seem bullshit too. Like shooting you in a bush because they heard you shuffle slightly 25m away. Once you learn the capabilities of scavs there's no problems dealing with them. Catch them always by surprise. If you fail at that then always keep hard cover between you. Don't ever re-peek them especially raider scavs. They'll shoot at what they can get at, and if it's your dome leaning around a corner that's where they will aim.

We can say EOD makes it a bit easier, maybe not that much easier... best thing about EOD is huge stash and all DLC free

I was playing with a fellow new player and we were right by sawmill and there was that one area by the shore we had to run across, from the outskirts area to the old station area to extract and we started getting shot at by 2 players, like 2 minutes prior i had found an ak on the weapons attachments rack in that little cabin, it was full of BP ammo so i took it. we were bobbing and weaving and then we finally made it, or so we thought. right as we were about to be behind cover he got a couple shots on me and blacked out my stomach and my left leg, so i hid in a bush and waited for them and I started spraying them down and I killed him, I thought there was only 1 there but then my friend said that there were 2 dead dudes. then i realized i got a collateral. They had 2 korund vms, ulach helmet, m700 and a tricked out sks as well as a decent mp5. my friend is new so I gave him the majority of it but it was a great run, we loaded in as some scavs just trying to kill some scavs so i could get my friend some gear but we left as geared bois

as surprising as it is I actually run this game without a physical gpu, i use my cpu as my gpu if that makes sense, so I can't use any guns with magnification scopes because it makes my game lag too much and I had to sell an mk18, thinking back on it I could have just tryed to use it with a reflex but i didn't and i seriously regret it, would have been sweet to give it a shot, after watching aquafps' factory run with it I realized my mistake of selling it
