I was on the same quest. If you can't find anyone to help you, my answer is to look up the map on google(I would pick a map that has the scav spawns and play a couple of offline raids with the map on your phone or second monitor if you have one. Once you feel that you know the map good enough go into a online raid. I hope this helped @bold kernel

@drifting jolt yeah thats what ive been doing really its just been difficult learning alone but ive got a decent handle on it, the only issues i have really arent close quarters fights but rather getting killed due to inexperience and lack of map knowledge. i also tend to get scared rather easily whilst playing alone especially by the chads ahaha. but yeah im gonna just continue playing as usual

Do your tasks so you can get better equipment for cheaper, don't spend more than you need, in the beginning of the game grab every Gun/Backpack you see your gonna die alot so you need backups most of the time you'll die due to having bad rounds in your gun that's just how it is find out what ammo types are good
Quests are important do them they give good rewards the farther down their paths you go and also makeing good relations with traders make higher level gear cost less with them
And grab everything you see in raid and replace loot in your bag as you go to more expensive loot (Snowballing)
