@summer blaze Found in raid denotes it was spawned 'in the raid'. Players can bring in items from their stash which would not be 'from the raid' for example. Further scavs and player scavs can pick up this loot before hand. Be killed by you and found with said 'out of raid' loot.

@waxen fiber AKSU should shoot reasonably accurately at that distance. Were you using iron sights or a red dot? The iron sights can throw you off on some guns if you're not used to them.

Well, I'd always recommend running with a small group when first starting. Even having watched hours and hours of gaming before I jumped in... I was still lost when I first started. There are so many little things that you just don't get from videos and its helpful to have someone playing with you to ask.

i move slowly across the entire map i avoid gunfights unless i know i can win them or catch someone off guard etc, people dont seem to like that lol

Yeah.. that's how I am too. Depending on the map though... having a 2 man or 3 man that plays similarly is the best way to go. Alternatively, maps like Reserve that isn't linear like Customs lends itself to breaking up groups into a pair of snipers and a pair or group of pushers. Just depends.
Best thing to do is to find a group that plays together regularly so you get comfortable working together.

but.. yeah... Customs is extremely unforgiving. Very short lines of sight... lots of bush wookies and 360 degree vulnerability. Factory is super easy. Just go in offline with no scavs and run around. It's super small. You can have it down in 5 minutes. Interchange is a bitch... you either go in with a goal to "get in and get out" or you just die wandering around. Woods isn't too bad... there are some good long sight lines. Reserves is probably the best map to learn, although admittedly the hardest. It's huge, has tons of loot, has great sight lines and doesn't force you to play any particular way... just takes time to learn them all.

Best early game setup for you guys would be SKS with 20 round mags running 7.62 PS. It'll smack almost everything except the highest geared players in a matter of a hit or two. Its super cheap to put together and will almost always come back in insurance.

SNB is my go to round... it cuts through all armor. Never takes more than 2 hits to kill anyone. Any 762x54 headshot will pen enough to be fatal through any helmet
