Pay close attention to shots on the map, predict where people will be moving and when. If you die once on a route, don't change it. Only change it if it fails 3 times in a row at the same place, then change it to avoid that place.

Keep track of the raid time, certain hotspots are going to be more active in the first couple minutes, and certain flowpoints will be much more active later, as people move from hotspots to extract.

If you shoot, know that everyone knows your position and will either be trying to avoid you, or hunt you. Reposition quickly, consider where players will likely be coming from and move accordingly.
You're gonna die a lot learning the flow on any map. Just learn from each death as much as you can. I highly suggest recording deaths and watching them back. Makes a big difference.

Random rats happen. Don't stop going that way, if you find rats there multiple times, then change to avoid it.
2 min from spawn things are very predictable, a rat couln't be too far from his spawn, so just learn and adjust

Lotta new players like to stick to the side walls of the map, which isn't very smart. Not much cover, if someone spots or hears you it's very easy to know where you're going and head you off. Plan a route carefully, adjust it if it fails repeatedly in the same spot

You get to see what you could have done better in much higher detail. You get to see how your aim was off, how you peeked badly, how you made noise when you shouldn't, when you should have pushed, and like a million more details that could have led to a better outcome.
Memory sucks. It's even worse if you're in a stressful situation like a tarkov fight. You need to watch that shit back with a clear head. Every player who is good at any game studies their losses after the fact.

You can't avoid every death. The best players I know have a SR of like 40-50%
The best hyper-rats can get to 60-70%
But you can improve your odds a lot by studying what you did wrong and really trying to apply it

You can't study what you did wrong if you don't have a way to watch it back

So try clipping your deaths

i use almost all class of weapons depending on map and where i wanna go, but i love smgs because they are just so easy to hit headshots with bc of low recoil and high firerate, just point ur reddot on their head and its a kill. most of my smg kills are neck or head but cannot say the same with ar bc of usually lower firerate and higher recoil forcing you to aim center mass if you want most of your bullets to hit the enemy

i just aim for their thorax on 20-60 meter range. if its very close range i still aim head but other than that i dont wanna gamble on hitting a headshot with the possibility of 10 rounds grazing their ears

depends on ur bullets and which part of their body ur hitting

if u are using something like jsp sx, you will kill someone in class 5 very quickly only if u hit their neck which isnt covered by a plate but either no armor or tier 2/3 soft armor that jsp sx penetrates anyways. but if u hit their plate, that bullet aint going through class 5+3 protection before like 15 rounds or so

i never felt my bullets deal low dmg when using sr2m

even if i am hitting class 6 armor, a few bullets just destroy the plate and rest of my rounds go through

The watch is a special type of an item, "quest item", which only appears when you have the quest active. And you generally cannot complete quests as a Scav, be it planting, killing or picking up special items. The only thing you can do with your quests as a Scav is picking up normal non-quest items. So like keys, the food for Jaeger, ...

The red circle on the raight is a med camp on the way to Emercon Exfil at Interchange, good chance for nice med items there. The one on the left is a scav camp it holds 4 tents, one is medical but other three tend to have good loot too

Do not go into the mall itself it is a dead zone for you atm

Well most people will use starter weapons with m855 etc run outta that stuff, then use budget builds like adars etc after that it's mostly people doing test drive so using mp5 and sr25s. Or using shotguns for setup. On factory doing office kills they will use Thier best kits and ammo

Until you like level 40 and high to max traders any gun your comfortable will work because it's ammo that will hold you back the most, not the guns

For me peacekeeper for ammo, ragman and prapor for T5 armour pretty much, so you need to rep them up and hit like LV43 I think it is. Also if you own arena and level ref, he has decent ammo at higher trader levels

Don't overlook using flesh ammo and going for pmcs legs also, that is a valid option if you can't get high pen ammo
