it's "locking" the item because you're below 40 (which shoudn't happen) but whats more odd is you getting the error constantly, try another plate or reach support. My guess is because prapor has it locked for you rn, the game is throwing a fit

I am still pretty new to Tarkov, but this is more of a general assistance thing. I have a 7800x3d, 4090, 6000 mhz DDR5 ram, and on the default settings which are very low, my game runs 160 fps while staring at a corner on ground zero, while my other friend with worse specs runs 200-300 on pretty high settings running around. Am I missing some magical setting that will make the game run better? Sorry if this isn't the 'correct' channel for this

Set your interface volume to 10%. It affects sounds of you opening inventory etc looting so basically you can just hear more while inside a container

Hello. Relative newbie here - been playing EFT PVE for a month on Steam. In the BSG launcher, I have been given a random "TarkovCitizen_xxxx" username, and the Launcher has a setting that it is remembering my login. I dont think that I know my "tarkov" login, in case I would ever need it. Is there something I am missing/something I need to do (to take ownership of my account)? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you've got to link steam to bsg or something like that. If you go on like view profile on the launcher from steam you will be able to see the account they created you. This may or may not solve it, I had the same issue a couple months back and this is all I can remember

yes, aiming your weapon drains stamina faster, and zooming in, even faster (in my experience, although i only have 100 hours under by belt). Thats why i press LEFT-ALT to relase breath, if i still want to be scoped in, but not holding my breath 😉

I see so many people using gun builds only using a 1x scope for maps like reserve, labs, labrynth. But why when u can use a tac30? Or any variable zoom scope? Or a specter ?

There is some optimization that can be done on our end in terms of game settings and background software that can help with this. Most likely it is a hardware bottleneck, and that may or may not be helped by this kind of tinkering.
When it happens, if you keep trying to reconnect it is likely you’ll get your stuff back though. If you leave matchmaking process then it’s definitely lost. It’s a PITA to deal with

Yeah, QoL is one of main things pushing me toward SP to be honest. Tarkov is a small portion of my gaming but wants to take up huge amounts of time. And not for fun activities either lol Grinding to me is bearable if im having fun. you can buy tier 5 armor pretty early as well as it's easy enough to find

depends on the caliber, I would recommend just learning a scav run for ammo on maps like reserve. quite often I hit like 500-600 rounds of good 5.45 ammo per scav raid

7.62 or 5.56 is trickier, but you still find a good amount of it

m80a1 you can craft and it's not too bad of an idea

I dont have m80A1 yet available for me. But I am a NATO fanboi lol I mainly shoot 7.62, 5.56 and 5.7. Best craft for 7.62 I have is BCP I think. Best 5.56 I have is SOST and best 5.7 I have is SS19o0. I wish you could just craft a reloader and then craft dies you want etc, that would be much better imo.

yeah there's a lot of good guides on YT for ammo spawns. a bit tedious to learn but 100% worth (in PvP, don't bother for pve)

Is there an easier way to get better ammo on PVE? Im only doing PvE. I would probably hit streets ammo keys (mvd, terragroup armory, concordia security, container mesh) or farm labs for ammo or labrys then tbh.
though you can still do reserve ammo runs on a pmc, it's more that good ammo doesn't really matter that much in pve, so especially if you don't have a lot of time to play I wouldn't bother

in pvp you're not really going to be winning a lot of fights with SOST for example right now, in pve you're completely fine to use it against anyone but bosses and their guards, even then its ok vs most of them

One of my first posts was I was furious that I put a 308 / 7.62 into the head of a boss who WAS NOT wearing a helmet and he turned around and one shotted me. I think it was partisan. Now with BCP thankfully that isntr as much of a problem. It still drives me nuts that bosses have double HP and guards as well some of them lol I also dont read the wiki (I know its a tarkov sin lol) I only recently found out from a friend that playing on your own server produces bosses almost 100 percent of the time whereas playing on Tarkovs server doesnt. Im an old dog, but eventually I do learn lol

An sr25 was dropped in a shower away from any loot containers with 3 minutes left on the timer and an mp7 was left in a loot container in the middle of the map with like 4 minutes left on time...
