Ehh depends on the extract if it's noticeable or not to be honest.

Some are, some aren't.

Go and do an offline raid with no AI and just run around and pick out landmarks. Than look at the map and see where you are. Match up what exfils you have available to you and go there on the map. Run around and you'll start to piece it together.

Once you have a semi rough idea of where to go, that's when I say you should take your scav. If you die who cares but you'll get practice going there in a real raid you know? Than after thst you feel decent about knowing where you are take your PMC there.

Scavs and PMCs have different exfils. And what side of the map you spawn will also dictate what exfils you have.

So it's going to take time. Embrace the suck and enjoy the learning progress. First 2 wipes are the best time you'll have.

The person who helped is @primal leaf, he might be able to give a better rundown. Essentially I did windows + r, opened %appdata%, went into the BSG folder, EFT folder, then deleted the 5 .ini files. Same with my documents folder. Documents > BSG > EFT deleted 3 .ini files. Started EFT launcher in admin (may not be required), booted up the game, worked like normal

most of the time, seeing people is based off map and game awareness. Of course there are several times where youre shot and you have no idea where, thats because theyre either really far away or with a suppressed weapon

thats just a skill issue, youre not paying attention + its a really unusual place to be so you sometimes dont register it because they're not actively moving. This isnt like apex legends where the enemies are highlighted in bright red for you, you have to notice

each map has different ones, it just depends what sticks in your mind. Streets theatre/lexos/mall are big ones for me, interchange kiba/oli/goshan/idea, lighthouse is pretty obvious, shoreline just use the center line, as well as the weather ball and villages

It's just one of those games where you need that much external info which the game simply doesn't give you. The only thing you can do yourself, is to slowly learn the stuff. Start with playing just a few maps, get better at recognising the landmarks, ... 🔁 and so on. Even the most experienced players look up some stuff, because one person cannot remember everything at once

Normal situation, you wont have a gun last that long. Say you do, you just buy a new base weapon and put attachments on that new system.

You could take it all apart and buy new parts but, the time that takes is only for those that REALLY want to RP every aspect possible.

Idk where else to post this, but I Can't find many places for help. My machine ran tarkov last wipe with zero issues whatsoever 100+ fps on any maps. Everything but customs and factory is near unplayable at 40 fps or less. Streets is 25fps for example. Customs is 55fps avg. I've reinstalled, followed a ton of fps guides, nothing is helping.

R7 5800 X3d, 7900XTX, 32gb 3600mhz ram.
