I'd say it's worth it if you want to add the 50 round or at least, the 25 round mags. If your using an X17, yet your using 20 rounders (Like I just saw with the chad player I killed), your basically defeating why you'd run the X17 in the first place; a scar-h, but with bigger mags.

At that point, just use the regular scar-h

refer to maps on google before you learn them. Go in offline mode, look at map and memorize extracts and spawns, map by map when you play them i guess. There's a lot of stuff to learn in this game, they unnecesary made it too complicated, but it's basically just COD with a bunch of gun modding and buying stuff

Scavs = Money. It's a free character. Grab as much as you can carry and sell it all for bank. Unless you're really looking for hideout stuff. Scavs should be money focused

This gets exponentially better once you get the flea market and can sell most things for WAY better then trader prices

Gear = Quests. Quest quest quest. The good stuff is locked to rep or flea. It's also where your more likely to find other players. So they're gonna be where you find gear in the field

Probably a dumb question but I am new to the game I love it but hate doing tasks, is the game playable without them?/is it not recommended to avoid the tasks? Cause I wanna learn a map stick with it and get good at it but cant do that when every task is in a new map I never played before, and I have to learn all extraction, spawn points and loot areas.

questing gives you better gear from levelling up traders

you could technically just get flea and live off that but many items are very overpriced on flea and you miss out on trader only items that are very good

ye every wipe they lock more stuff behind quests. think about tarkov like its an RPG. questing is kind of the objective most of the time. it also gives you a goal when youre playing the map and forces you to branch out and learn other maps. the progression is such that you get a bunch of customs and woods quests. then you start getting them for shoreline and reserve. then some for interchange. then lighthouse, then streets. so you kind of "unlock" quests on maps as you progress if that makes sense

If the quests locations are messing with you do some offline, if the players do try to play slower and dont be in the open, there's no need to go naked you can always play scav make some money and steal your scav's loadout if youre out of gear

going in naked is stupid imo. Scavs will be aggrod on you and 1 bullets or a shotgun blast and you're dead. Run a couple practice raids to learn where the quest stuff is with no rosk of losing stuff, then go back in and try it for real. Take it slow... no slower than what you were thinking.

A barter isn't a means to an end. A barter is a secondary mean to acquire items. Passively collecting junk in raid is an example while you grind quests or loot.

A good example at max level prapor I can trade 50k worth of items for a suppressed ASH-12 vs spending 110k (fluctuating) on the flea.

But you cannot deny the fact that while true, everyone has a different playstyle, it is not an extreme outlook to simply have different lobbies for experienced players and new/"bad" players. to call the game fair you need to equalize the experience somehow, there is nothing like that here. Pretending there is is just delusional. Look at Hunt Showdown, if a 6 star player is in 3-5 lobbies, he absolutely destroys everyone, WITH EQUAL gear. Here you not only have extreme skill inequality (because of the way the game works) but you also have EXTREME gear inequality (becase of how the game works). Because Tarkov isn't CoD. Hardcore entails no guarantee of matchmaking or "fairness" against other players. Given a full kitted M4 vs an MP18 some players can still prevail against you because they've put in the time and effort to get better no matter the odds. Everyone dies in tarkov.
