Audio has been fixed somewhat. The echo bullshit is gone. The bug where if you hit the arm and it wouldn't damage the thorax is gone. Performance is somewhat better but we're still waiting for a optimization update. I think your headshot on that dude was just a desync issue.

Can be found in grenade cases semi regulary.
There are four grenade launchers currently in game, the GP 25 underbarrel that fires soviet VOG grenades which can be mounted on AK's, the M203 that mounts on M4's, the FN40GL launcher and the M32A1 rotary launcher (only found on big pipe).

Other than the M32A1 they are high level barters but you can occasionaly find either of the UBGL's in weapon crates.

yes quests are the bloodline of the game they make unlock more guns, gun parts and armor, your first quests will be on ground zero, custom and woods so if you have to learn any map learn those first, I would also recommend to do practice raids to get yourself familiar with the map and game mechanics

Load up some offline raid to learn the map before you tackle it. Walk more if you can to listen to audio cue etc
