id recommend to not put saturation or colorfullness above 10 because the game changes it way it renders if you do so.

Bes thing is to work with nvidia control panel and turn up gamma/contrast/colors there if you have it.

Tarkov doesn't have correctly scaled reticles so we get to figure out reticle scale our selves by measuring targets of known size and calculating an angle value for the marks on our optic

Which optic are you using ?

The irl method is pretty straight forward and the math can be adjusted to fit tarkov

So let's say our reticle is a Mil pattern reticle.

This would mean the dots or lines are spaced apart 1 : 1000th the distance were observing

Could someone explain the Mechanic's task: "Getting Acquainted". I didn't kill the Z-guy or even try to cross the bridge, but basically ignored the task for a while, putting my decoded DSPT into my stash. Now that I wanted to undertake the task and start searching for the V3 Flashdrive, I didn't see the task available but it is listed as "failed". How did I fail it and how can I resume the Lightkeeper task line now? Also there is no "Make Amends" quest available. Since many are "autofailing" this missions, can we expect it to be fixed or should I try to kill the Z-guy to gain "make amends", or will the quest fail somehow again?

with eastern made scopes, you can easily determine the range without using the calculator, for some of the western ones you can do the same, but i dont understand how the western scopes calculated it

There is one from PSO scopes, but aside from those. They really dont have any built in range indicator on "meta sights" like these one.

yeah the KMZ scopes and the PSO scopes have that, some of the western ones have those as well like schmidt (the 5 by 25 one), but for example i cant use that ones inbuilt range indicator

Yeah, tarkov doesnt really delve deep in built-in scope range finders. We have other gadgets to measure those instead. However I do miss having to use those when I was playing Squad, it felt good having to get a great guess of distance with those things when sniping and RPG'ing
