last wipe (my 1st) I pretty much exclusively ran 3 minute factory runs. Made more money than I knew what to do with. It works. This wipe I have changed to a different route but still have a 80% survival rate and making decent money. Helped me learn another map much better

30 seconds and you get rep up and random scav gear

can get some nice stuff on it

there is absolutely no reason to ever scav anything else

scav factory and then play other maps on your PMC where you can actually make progress on tasks and levels

at beginning try and get as many V extracts as possible so you get better gear on your scav too

as beginner you can use scavs as a more care free way to learn maps and loot spots

dont forget, new players die a TON on PMC and often need a breather

more experience ya get the less ya should even touch scav so ya, factory in and out makes most sense then

Yo, i got my trader rep/quests rolled back a few hours yesterday. from what i can tell its an issue with arena and its pretty common. However, i did chemical part 1-4, and then it got rolled back. When it got rolled back, I only had chemical part 1, so I did it. But when I did chemical part 1 it DID NOT give me chemical part 2. I want to unlock lightkeeper and it says I need to complete the chemical questline to do it. Is there a support page where I can get this fixed?

Bring a couple meds, tourniquet and bandage hotkeyed in your pockets, Car medkit in secure container or in rig depending on just how broke you are.
Spare stack of ammo in your secure, leave the knife and water in stash unless you're drinking it start of raid to powerlevel metabolism. (melee is useless 99% of the time and it gives you a slot to loot melee for that little bit extra money).

Theres other stuff i'd bring myself (eg painkillers/cms kit/grenades) but for starter kits i would recomend against it since it just makes the overall kit more expensive and most new players aren't able to put them to good effect. Grenades for example are more of a tool to get enemies to move rather than a weapon and I never go into raid without at least one but for new players it's almost 10k roubles for something that's tricky to use right.

Balaclava is a good investment tho, nobody will ever pick it up and naked faces stand out quite a bit. Armband I'd leave in stash unless playing in a group

Very similar to the goons minus that he can really roam anyplace. But luckily he is an absolute bot so free loot?

Wipe will take your gear and money anyway, might as well spend it.
You will lose all your gear at the end of wipe anyway but you'll keep the skills you acquired, treat losing gear as investing in practicing.
If you find yourself jumping at any noise, try a run or two with a helmet that blocks your hearing and just W key to hotspots. Can't cower from what you can't hear and might as well yolo it to get over that mental hurdle.
Bring a frag grenade and make a point to use it at some point in the raid, commit to the fight you started.

First time I've progressed enough that I'm actually having trouble managing overlapping tasks. Like I didn't do Lighthouse for a while. i'm just starting to and I have so many overlapping quests. How do you keep track of them all? Punisher 4, Easy task, Energy Crisis, Some task to mark tanks. Very easy to forget which things I need to do for which tasks. And that's just Lighthouse.

Take your time to go through the tasks befoee the raid, if your going wood you can sort tasks by clicking on map and it will sort the tasks by maps from there create a plan with what youre gonna do in raid
