Honestly, when learning maps I use scavs, no missions, mostly don't get into combat. I find out my spawn from landmarks and then with a map to my side, I set an end point and loot across that path and make sure it ends at a PMC extract so I get used to the area, then find the closest scav extract

in woods, its impossible to control the distance unless you decide to camp a specific compound

someone coming to that compound is highly unlikely, and if they come, they can easily outscope you with machine gun at 80 meters

Im a solo player, and im doing pretty decent, but i just cant figure out how to deal with campers.
2 raids in a row now someone is just prone or sitting in a corner on interchange, they make no noise at all and can be pretty hard to spot, plus there is a million angles, and i need to get to my quest items - so im not going to afk in a corner.
I get that they are bad players and this is their only way of winning and will never improve etc, but is there a way to stop them?
I usually run decent gear but i feel like i still die in 0,2 seconds no matter what gear i have on.

Maybe a suggestion to BSG would be to make separate servers for campers, so they can enjoy playing with like minded players.

keep fcond, psu/motors are for hideout so up to you if you want to keep, ssd's are really common and easy to find so you can sell them, keep the lion for the documents case barter, nuts are pretty cheap atm ~10k iirc so you can sell them, if you have lavatory then sell the soap, tp, ortho toothpaste, repellent is useless i think unless there is a barter, you can sell 1 bulbex (unless you want to try marathon task), and apollo cigarettes are useless

what's the difference between the mosin sniper, infantry and infantry carbine?

short answer: they're basically the same thing, the sniper just has the ability to mount dovetail mounts/adapters and the carbine is just a short version of the regular mosin

Scav village by car extract and the area above that spawn scavs but a tarkov feature is that if you need scavs, none will spawn and if you are trying to get out of raid with a quest items, 127 scavs will spawn at your location with god like aim and 2k hp in the head

Scavs spawn in waves, best places are sawmill (although do that later into raid because it's very popular), the medical outpost near sawmill, the little shack that's directly left of the car near sawmill, svac outpost and the scav town area. What I do is search my spawn area coz scavs will spawn at the beginning of the raid. Then I go to the furthest scav hotspot and look there, then make my way to extract whilst going through any other scav hotspots. Even if you don't kill many, anything is progress. When you kill a scav, camp the area and hopefully you killed it with a loud weapon as their new AI means they're swarm corpses so good for you, bad if you need to heal after killing a PMC 😂

The more expensive you put in, the worst you get back. There's a value cap and anything above that gives you rubbish back. Some items have a one time guaranteed result and you can look those up however stuff like 5 SKSs gives normally profitable results. Throw stuff in there you don't care about or mind losing. Anything with value is basically a waste.

I got a moonshine for 5 fresh sks, that worked for like 3 times in a row, then it gave me 3 quest items and then random rubbish so definitely don't use anything valuable. VerybadScav has been making lots of videos on the subject so watch his stuff to see what kind of stuff works and doesn't

I always bring a bottle of water which costs 12k and one of those green food packets which is around 22k. Keeps you in the raid for longer and levels up your nutrition level. Definitely if you are in painkillers consently

If you know what youre doing you dont need that as food is plentiful on most locations if you look in the right places. And even if you want to bring food for sure not the green iskra, theres cheaper foods that also are quite nutricious

But observing how real players move around the map, which spots are hot and how each map flows is something you will need to eventually diacover in pvp matches to be decent

for Customs, you just get it and survive. Factory, you either rush it, prone there and plant it, or wait to 10 min until end but then you have to fight hordes of scavs

anythin goes, regular vityaz or mp is fine, shitty ammo but go for legs or head. Silencer is very important. Any gun will do really. For money making, go interchange, gather food + tools and sell it on flea or to therapist. For faster but less, go factory, loot everything you can and extract. Both i mean scav runs. I make money runs as as scav, pmc i focus on quests.
