Ayo I'm not exactly new, but I've been struggling with this for a while: Constant disconnects on EU servers. I'm from South Africa and the low population of my servers + not being able to squad with basically anyone is annoying. It's just frustrating that my ping suddenly goes from 180 to 210 or higher and the game instantly kicks me. I used GearUp booster for a few days but the trial ended, so if there's any free way to lower my ping even by 10-20 i'd be grateful. (Sorry for the paragraph)

And it's the same with DayZ, they use server-verified actions, EFT servers give an elevated level of trust to the client to determine what is happening in a raid, when your ping exceeds 200, it is possible for you to walk around a corner, shoot someone in the face and kill them, but on the enemies screen, they did not even seen you come around that corner yet when they died

This does not happen in a game like Call of Duty, which uses a different netcode and has the server decide on what is happening in the game, rather than users' clients

Run your scav off cooldown and If you're playing solo, slow down. You don't have to run everywhere. Learn the maps, and I mean really learn them, learn loot runs, etc. Customs, Reserve, and Woods are amazing for this. Run away from gunfire and set yourself goals. If you are there to loot/money run, be super safe, and run away from fights, avoid them unless you know you can win, and if you are there for questing, just focus on quests. Biggest thing is unlocking flea. Do your quests because they are a lot of exp, especially until 15. Once you unlock flea, a lot of the game opens up and the real money making begins.

I am still newer, but have 200~ hours in the game, and learning these things, has helped me tremendously

that's an epic rig, I was running a 3070 ti for a bit but the card burnt out beyond repair. I've never been much of an intel fan, though. It was like that all the time. And recently they changed it, so you can even pen the glass easier.

The thing with the glass was, that it needed decent pen to go through, and when it went through, it lost a big chunk of flat dmg. Meaning that low dmg rounds just basically did nothing. SMG rounds did jack shit. 556 was pretty terrible, etc.
