I'd personally go for lvl5 plates on lvl3 soft, it's a huge improvement and doesnt cost much money - what you miss out on is lvl2 throat, back neck, groin and buttocks area, but this is a risk you have to decide for yourself whether to take (lvl2 soft + lvl5 hard + more coverage of soft / lvl3 soft + lvl5 hard + less coverage of soft)

the three websites with the best maps are mapgenie cus it has the most detail(has a paywall on some maps), tarkov-market cus you can upload a screenshot and tells you where you are(other unrelated features are paywalled), and db4tarkov which are nice simple and easy to read

most of the time db4tarkov are best for leaving on a second monitor or phone cus it's not cluttered and easy to read at a glance

quick note, they use the same maps as the wiki in some cases but also have some interactive features on a few of their maps as a bonus

Both buying and selling items will increase the money spent with the trader, repairing and insuring also adds to that number.

a general rule is to sell your shit to the highest buyer, insure with prapor, repair with skier, and give intel items to peacekeeper

and it should sort itself out

Hard to point it out exactly what stat it is but getting precise followup shots is faster with the sr for me, i can spam it more accurately but it may be some confirmation bias as i play with the sr more agresively than with the rfb

Depending on how you play m80 might work , volume of fire wise m80 is still pretty good.

M62 is objectively better , but how much better is a smidge more subjective

the character lvls they need are staggered

so you'll usually reach the character lvl you need for some traders before other

For dedicated sniping , I'd be looking at other ammo like m61 or m993 , if those are out of your budget look into the 7.62x54r family

Dmr work m62 is fine but as mentioned it being a tracer is a detriment to the sniper play style

but most maps have a loot run or two that's good for money
