You have to check what mosin ammo it is, if you hit a headshot with lps or above they are most likely dying

Both mosin and the SKS have their ups and downs, for general purpose the SKS is usualy better than the mosin but there are a lot of tasks that require bolt actions. Either way if you can reliably hit headshots both will work. The SKS gives you more margin of error tho.

As a new player, the strongest weapon that should be available to you is the 545 AKS 74U, full auto with good ammo available all over the place. Lacks damage per shot tough.
But once you get a couple levels I'd recomend the SVT, basicaly a combo of the mosin ammo and the SKS gun.

Learn the maps and extracts first, scavving and the wiki are good ways to learn this, furthermore without the wiki we would all be fucking lost so make sure to use it, know when to pick your fights if possible, it may be smart to let that 3 man just pass by as a solo if they clearly have not seen or heard you, ammo and armour are really important compared to their place in most games so learning the basics of how they function can be essential to learning the basics of killing people

I once asked around here if having the mask underneath a visor makes any sense. Allegedly it does, as it can work as additional layer of protection. I always use Death Shadow underneath a visor myself, at least.

From what i understand, please corect me if wrong, in this case lets say you get shot in the eye hitbox, the caiman visor has a chance to ricochet the round, stop it if its below 20 pen or let it through with decreased damage and penetration, im not sure how decreased as that depends on the bullet. Then that decreased stats bullet will impact the mask and run those calculations again and if it goes through it will again have decreased damage and penetration and should impact your glasses last and do it all one last time. Definetly wearing this combo gives you a somewhat better chance to survive than not wearing it against some rounds, especially ones with lower pen or extrordinairly low damage. Its generally worth it if money isnt a problem for you

If youre usec just do 3 raids on other maps to reset rogue agro and go there nightime and dont shoot at rogues and dont come next to them and they should leave alone and not atack you. If youre bear i recomend going on youtube and looking up guides for clearing the rogue camp its actually not as hard as it seems if you stick to the pattern shown in those guides. Just make sure to use one recorded as recently as possible as there were some changes to rogues over the years

back to whatever your purchased edition is
on paper, they said wipe will be early august
but they've wiped early and late before

Hello, I turned in the quest "Spotter" some days ago, got my rewards (but died on my way back due to being to close to a cultist, whatever) and now Lightkeeper won't give me the next quest and keeps telling to come back in a hour or so. It's been days with no change.

after they engage or one dies they go active and patrol
but till then they hide
there's also two ritual spots on woods
one's near the sawmill, just south of the checkpoint
