so you get .25 for the first time you use the car on each map

it's actually quite a lot

If I was you I'd really try to take advantage of offline mode. Go factory, high or hoarde scavs, and practice aiming.
When you fight in real raids it's usually with lots of adrenaline, you rarely get a chance to actually think about what you're doing and build good habits. Doing a bit of that in offline really helped me

and played with zhuk and mcx
and i would say, having the class 6 armor + a kitted out gun fwith 60 rounder mag and best ammo makes even from me - a noob - a good player. because i was able to just tank shots and spray down enemies. Obviously nothing saves from headshots from good players.

The few that I find everybody likes are:
-Changing lean to Press instead of Continuous, as moving while holding a lean is a bit awkward.
-Changing 'Check Ammo' to something other than Alt-T. Commonly people will have that on their mouse, or H, V, U.
-Changing 'Check Time and Exits' to Press, instead of double-click. It will unbind 'Check Time', but you'll never miss it.
-Either unbinding or rebinding the emergency reload key, it's rarely useful and having it bound to the same key slows down your default reload.
-Changing your fix malfunction keybinds to something easier to remember than "L" for inspecting and "Shift T" for clearing. Many people use Press "L" to inspect and Double-Tap "L" to fix the malfunction. Up to you, but make it simpler than it is by default.
-Changing 'Discard' to something more ergonomic helps a ton, since ctrl+left click puts things in your bag i've always liked ctrl+right click to throw stuff out

Easy way to see what attachments you can use is to right click on the part the attachment would go on and then select "linked-search". Aswell when you get workbench level 1 you can go trough the "edit-preset" screen and modify your guns trough that. It shows every available attachment that you can buy/barter for. If you want to mod with parts in your inventory same way but select "modding"

Okay, there is something called Offline raids in the game where you can adjust the settings and roam around the map. You will not get any items or XP out of it, but you will be able to roam around freely without having to worry about losing anything

ok i am not entirely new but i am new to labs, bought a few keycards to make some money and find ledX for private clinic, How does the glass window at black room make sense?? i got 13 hitcount with PAB-9 and did only 25 damage to him while his armour at 10 damage, and the dude i am shooting manages to black my thorax ( killed me through level 5 armour) using 545 BP in around 2 seconds, i shot him first

Almost all glass in the game is currently bugged. Last wipe it was all penetrable minus the Kiba arms in Interchange but all glass now greatly reduces damage of all guns

I remember back at the start of wipe I was still able to kill people through the black keycard glass with Piranha rounds

when u make the gunsmith build it will show up teh checkmark again

the first gun has the checkmark because all the parts are found in raid and the checkmark symbol displays that the gun can be used for the quest but its not the right build

when u make the gun that meets the requirements it will also have a checkmark that says it can be handed in for the quest

it doesnt have to use FIR parts to hand it in

my biggest error is not reloading, one time (today) as a scav I had a guy pinned with a shotgun, he began to cough after I shot him at range a few times. he was probably mortally wounded. I charged their position behind cover but my gun clicked and I got gunned down fast.

you cant insure every item either, so for example, when your gun is returned, it will not have any ammo left

because you cant insure ammo

therapist and mechanic, at mechanic 3 u get good barter for weapon case, therapist has good barters for different containers and crates at bascially every level

at lvl 35 u get access to private clinic from therapist giving you a thicc items case
