Focus on PK first. Good ammo is much more important than good armor.

You can also just check armors on wiki and then see what you need to unlock them

Lvl 5 plates the most reliable way is through lavatory lvl 3 crafts

Lvl 6 you basically need max traders

If you were full auto spraying you may have gotten unlucky recoil and hit, like several different hitboxes

If you've unlocked the SAS barters you can get cult thermite front plate (1 SAS), and two GAC 3s15m from the hexatac hpc barter, both Ragman, that way you can run a Osprey (SAS barter PK) with lvl 6 and 5 back protection under 15 kg, kind of expensive and you'll still get one tapped, but at least you had fun

hey guys, yesterday I was doing shoreline, came along the main road, I cleared scavs at crane and gas station, wanted to extract at tunnel.
As soon as I hit the roadblock at tunnel, scavs started pouring in from village side, killed 7 of them, but they didn't stop coming at me and killed me.

According to the maps, there shouldn't be any, is that some random occurence or usual and the map is missing this info?
(it was a night time raid, and they didnt look anything special, just normal scavs as far as I can tell)

Does anyone know whether wearing a mask (armour class 2) under a face shield (armour class 3) make any sense at all? Or does only the higher class item covering a particular body spot matter?

It's not a question whether using this armour class makes sense at all, assume it's just against scavs or whatever. I just wonder if this is 100% redundant, or if the other item makes sense (save for a situation in which one decides to put a damaged face shield up, when the mask can work as a back-up).

They do stack. When a bullet penetrates something, it loses some dmg and pen values. So the mask could save you. Although, im not sure about how much pen/dmg it loses.

You give up neck protection for a little lifhter and a little cheaper if you use the ana m2 or thor concealable

The osprey protection covers everywhere almost with good protection at an okay price, just heavier and a liiittle pricier

it's not exactly beginner friendly but killing the bosses in the event on shoreline is insane xp per raid

To add to this watch the north mountain side for PMCs a lot of em chill up there for ez killing. Sometimes the roof as well. If you gonna kill the bosses easiest way is to lure them in and kill them while they are in a animation cause they got cracked head eyes aim best of luck

Sell everything you can purchase from traders (except meta ammo that has a long cooldown between resets).
Remove magazines, pistol grips and 30mm scope mounts from weapons to shrink them in size, that MDR for example can be 5x1 slots instead of 5x3. The loose parts take up 5 squares by themselves for a gain of 5.
