best will come down to area of coverage. it is considered high tier because it covers a lot of your body and its level 6 armor. there are other armors that will do a similar job

best armor is in my opinion Thor CRV.
Its light and cheap, can take western plates and side plates and has lvl 3 soft armor

-You want to get one map down well. Don’t spread yourself thin early on. Focus on getting good enough at one map you can always go back there and make money if you need to, then go learn others. Start anywhere but Factory. Don't spend too much time on Ground Zero.
-If you want to guarantee profit, you can always enter the cycle of scavving and offline-PMCing/Practice Mode while your scav is on cooldown. Scavving can only make you money. Practice mode is great for learning maps, learning loot runs, and getting good at killing scavs and scav bosses, and other core mechanics like hipfire. It's literally impossible to lose any money doing this, so it just stacks up while you learn a lot
-Stop running everywhere - sprinting is very loud and gives you away, it provides a lot of opportunity to ambush you. Whenever you're in high-traffic areas, be very disciplined about when you sprint.
-Have a goal in mind every raid, plan a route and try to stick roughly to it. If you notice a route failing 3 times in a row, change your route. This makes it easier to keep track of which routes actually work and which are reliably dangerous.
-Positioning is everything. In combat, frequently reposition, this is just one of the reasons map knowledge is critical and should be built and practiced ASAP. Pick your fights, don't be afraid to retreat
-Ammo is more important than guns, but you need to know how to use what ammo you have. High damage vs High penetration is a critical difference - use an ammo chart.
-Learn from every death, there's almost always a lesson, recording them and watching them back really helps improve
-Most importantly, have fun with it - don't be afraid to take a break if it's frustrating you too much.

Ground Zero should definitley be where you start. Just don't spend much time there. There's only 5 tasks there and you get them done very quick, and the loot is nerfed compared to other maps

For a veh extracts (any, same for dorms) you need to have money (varies per extract iirc dorms is 5000rub) first person to pay starts the car and then the rest of folks who want to go with pay too before the timer runs out. You need to be in the extract zone by the car before the timer runs out. Then it should extract you.

Which way? Depends what end of map. Generally from personal experience I like taking smugglers even if I'm near skelly. Other than that I think both big red extracts if you take the small bridge near smugglers if it's closed you just gotta be careful about people under/on the bridge and on the other end of bridge. Also care for raid timing so you don't run into dorms. Ofc imo if you're not on dorms if you can afford the factory key and can extract fortress that's huge especially since u can get into wh4 from there easily and back,leaving backpack behind. Other way around gas station especially if you jump closer to wh4 and extract from that way. Otherwise key and if all that fails you don't really get a safe option since you need to go through the choke near the green screen area. Usually I don't even look for zb12 and just go 11 since I don't want to approach choke from 12 and give info near zb12 if anyone is around.

Ofc if really scared and you've time you can go from fortress ish to near the parking lot and dorms of you respect the distance and stick to the outside of the map it's usually empty.

yeah it actually sells surprisingly good. milk is 35-50k. tushonka, peas, tarcola and the other 1slot food items are like 15-25k depending on the time.
its what i "teach" new players when they want to scav less but also are still scared of dying. all the food spawns are in one spot at goshan and its like 400-500k per run

its not "great" if you compare it to running a full farmroute, but if ur new to the game i think it can help you with gearfear & similar since the runs are quick and simple (and u also level ur pmc's skills with it instead of scav)

in PvP everything wipes (every 6 months ish) besides the amount of hours you've played total. In PvE it never wipes.

and streets has the player scav horde too, the moment they catch whiff of a fight theyll keep coming, by the time you deal with one wave another will rush you

Im quite new, despite having like 180h in tarkov (its not alot but i usually get very used to these types of games by then) im a lvl 19, with lvl 1 traders apart from ragman. I find myself dying a lot and never profiting, usually hovering around 400k - 1m in the bank. Are there any tips to:

1. Make more money
2. Not die as solo in fights?
   I have found that the only times i kill someone with good loot is when I unkowingly run directly into them, and scare the shit out of them, is that a legitimate strategy? Sorry for the big message but I really need help to not be ass

making money isnt as difficult as you think, you get a feel for whats worth depending on the time of wipe youre playing as you put more hours into the game and figure out where things spawn or if you have a specific loot route you follow instead

not dying as a solo is mostly down to skill, map pathing knowledge and pure luck depending on the map youre on, sometimes you can also just avoid a fight entirely by running away

even picking up random scraps nets you a decent amount as long as you manage to haul them out, depending on one thing to spawn to make money isnt as a good strat as you think since theyre not guaranteed to spawn or be the same price the entire wipe

also no shame in scavving and just picking shit up as you go towards extract or something

eitherway just stick to playing the game or watch a money route video or two, theres not really much to say when it comes to making money
