Low GPU usage in Tarkov can be attributed to two things

Either you are not utilising your GPU enough, and it's basically idle
Or your CPU is holding you back so much that your GPU doesn't HAVE to be used as much because it would make zero difference to the frame times

Your CPU usage is not low

If it were above 90% your PC would likely crash and all other programs would be crashing including Unity

Below 50% is normal

Especially when you are running with SMT disabled

Because that disables the virtual cores

Which is like the entire point of it

Your GPU usage won't increase because it doesn't need to

Your frames are limited by your CPU currently

You could try using DLDSR to upscale your game

Which would get you a bit more usage and make the game look better

I just explained to you why your CPU usage is like that

If your CPU usage was like above 80%, your system would be very unstable especially with Tarkov, other applications in the background would be crashing and you would likely have the game crash with Unity errors often

Your usage is below 50% because you are only utilising your physical cores for gaming

That's not how CPUs work

If you were above 50% usage you would be using your virtual processors to run the game

Which would result in a MASSIVE tank in your FPS

As I have explained to you already, just increasing your usage alone will not increase your frames

You turned on 4x supersampling

You are basically rendering the game at 4K and then downscaling it for your monitor's resolution

Of course that is going to increase your GPU usage, because your GPU has to utilise more of its cores to output that higher quality image

Your frames won't increase because you aren't rendering more frames, you're just rendering better looking ones

That's like saying "I put more gas in my car why isn't it going faster?"

DLDSR is basically supersampling anyway

It's just done on a driver side instead of the game engine side

You have to turn on image scaling and DSR factors

Medium texture quality with the Streets of Tarkov lower texture resolution mode is basically the same as playing on Low texture quality as far as the engine is concerned

So of course you're going to get low GPU usage when you're using Low texture quality

You could play on High texture quality with the Streets setting enabled, that would mean you are playing Streets at Medium texture quality and your usage should increase across all maps

If you set it to On + Boost then your GPU will run at the boost clock speed instead of boost when it thinks it needs to

On + Boost is good on RTX cards yeah but can cause some slight stutters here and there

You should have seen a larger increase in your performance doing this where your CPU is concerned, but I can almost bet if I ask, you're running quad channel?

That will mean increased latency on your memory and means you won't get the most out of it but it's only a small difference in performance

It depends entirely on the workload for the memory

Like if you're editing large files in Adobe Premiere or Vegas, then you'll want quad channel

If you're playing games, dual channel is just better

The best system you could build for Tarkov right now is a 7800x3D with a 7900 XTX and 64GB DDR5 6000Mhz

And I gave you multiple things to try, disabling SMT for one, checking your timings in your BIOS, ensuring that your drivers and chipset and BIOS version is all up to date, making sure that your graphics drivers aren't causing any issues by using DDU to do a clean install of them could do wonders considering the fact you've mentioned you've had multiple cards

I have a 5800x3D, that's pretty much the only trick, lots of small tweaks in my BIOS and Ryzen Master and process lasso to ensure SMT is disabled, ISLC also helps out a little bit, works better than the Auto RAM Cleaner setting does anyway

Could someone clear this up for me - I've had a couple situations as a Scav where AI scavs will shoot me even if I haven't done anything.

I just had this happen on GZ where I spawned in at Emercom, ran just a few meters down the street before meeting two Scav AI looking around, one of them did a voice line to me and started gesturing, then 5 seconds after his friend turned around and shot me in the head.
In the death menu it said it was just an AI scav name, so

If youre talking about the sniper scav waaay up on the smoke stack being shot from dorms, you shouldnt need to aim up that much. Im pretty sure 1MOA means youll miss 1inch at 100YDS. so 2MO would be 4 inches low at 200, which is what sniper scav would roughly be.

After a while i learned to put more effort and get in more dangerous pvp situations.
