Say there is a doorway to your left. You sprint by it while freelooking left. You get a quick glance while not letting the enemy react, or at least making it as hard as possible. Its better than just peeking a doorway like you would in idk rainbow six, because of how tarkov movement works.

Going in order is a good idea. Learn one map very well, do all the quests for it, repeat for every other map. Also, use offline mode. "enable practice mode for this raid" when you load in. Or use scavs to scout out where you need to go for quests

I think the adar is actually underrated. And semi auto in general. I know its just like a semi auto m4, but it always comes back on insurance, even if decently modded , and is precise, easy headshot machine with minimal recoil

hey guys, kinda new here. Bought the game in 2018, quit for six years, played for about the last month getting back into it. my problem is that I cannot play while also using discord, when I load into the raid my mic in discord stops working, then if I get the mic to work my in-game sound stops working, so I've never been able to play with anyone, solo only. I feel like with the new sound changes it is no longer viable to play alone, so I now have to figure out why tarkov breaks discord and sound in windows...

what's missing in the game is a sense of timing and being able to predict how far an enemy has snuck from his last known location, now you can hear slow movement so might as well W key run around the whole time, if I can be heard from 80 meters walking

If you're moving around the map, and you can hear people from really far away, I don't care if you're landmark or if you're stankrat, the first thing you do when you hear a noise is stop moving and try to gather more information. The problem is not people sneaking around man.
