Yea, its a pain in the early lvls. I used a lot of sks and actually i found sucess with the .366 eko rounds. You can run them in the vpo-209 semi auto AK, supressor you can get from skier lvl 1 which is cool

Also make sure to loot decent 5.45 bullets in your raids. Theres always plenty on the ground on most maps

Running an aks74u with found in raid ammo also got me quite far

Yea, on full auto guns i try to het recoil down without losing too much ergo or even gain some. And on semi auto builds i prioritise ergo over recoil in a similar way

I think balance of tge 2 is key to a build that will take you far

if you dont have the required rep for the trader then you will not have the loyalty level, so if for example therapist requires 1.0 for LL3, and you do a task that makes you go from 1.0 to .9 you will lose the LL

try to use the best you have available, bag and vests don't matter that much imo, for armor there are guides on what to use early on and as you progress
my recommendation for weapon early on is the pp-19-01, really cheap, can be modded and althought the ammo won't pen anything you can get headshots
look into customs next, you will have some tasks there soon/already have some

If i have to make a questing kit from scratch and i dont wanna invest a lot into it i get something like a kirasa but replace the front plate with class 4, tactical sports from flea or whichever headset you like, i use the bleach barter to get the 6b47, i build a gun that i know i got plenty of decent ammo for, it usually costs around 100-120k i buy at least 20 slot bag and often i just do the matches barter for the hunter rig off jager its usually like 7k lol. So idk how much the whole kit + nade + meds comes out to. Probably under 300k

But if you got money to spare you can also consider investing it into your hideout, shit is usefull

If you are a BEAR it's a bit more tricky, I'd recommend either going at night and taking out the Rogues

reserve, interchange, lighthouse, and woods are all popular alternates

But like doing whatever map you're the most comfortable with is probably best, surviving more is more profit
