If a boss spawns, it spawns at the start of the raid together with the first wave of scavs, if no boss spawns the first wave of scavs spawns a couple seconds after the raid starts, this causes a small ping spike that can be used as an indicator to know if the boss spawned that raid or not. After that scavs spawn in waves at certain time intervals, player scavs load into one of these follow up waves.
So the longer the raid goes on the more scavs will be in raid, minus the ones killed of course.

Weapon mastery at this time does nothing except at rank 3 you can reload while aiming down sight. It's neat but not particulary worth grinding for. If you do want to grind it, it only increases by hitting enemies so leg meta is better than headshots for leveling it.

It's not particulary hard to achieve if you just run the same weapon a couple raids in a row but it's not particulary worthwhile to go out of your way to get it. Most weapons require a couple hundred hits to max out, shotguns a lot more because each pelet counts as a hit. The M4A1 and AK 74 stand out with 2000+ required for mastery because they can mount a grenade launcher.

Airdrops can be pretty good. Medical or common stash variants can give you ledx's. Technical drops are kinda shitty. The weapon ones are also super meh. Still worth calling though, wait until the last 15 minutes of a match and fire off into the sky in some secluded corner of a map near your extract.

The single slot red flares can be put into your secure container as well, leave it in there until you use it. You can buy the flare gun from jaeger

it’s a big complaint of the skill system, but this is gate kept behind the perception skill

you just need to level perception because it will increase the audio capture range just as much as wearing a headset would help in some cases

with visual visibility, you might need to talk someone in the #community-support channel for technical support but they’ll probably just tell you to upgrade your monitor/setup

and yes it can be because you play on 21:9 most games don’t actually support that

There's a barter at mechanic lvl 3, buy them outright at therapist lvl 4, they're on flea for 170k, or if you have good scav karma your scav will spawn with one fairly often

if someone is running ac3+ armor that has a neck covering or a decent visor, you will just meet your doom

what's the likelihood of piranha not proccing a bleed on a full hit

if the proc on bleeds is separate (i.e. 10 procs for heavy and 10 procs for light) then there is a 96% chance of causing at least one bleed on a full 10 projectile hit, but if there is only 10 total procs then that chance drops to 80% chance of a bleed on a full hit

It's down to personal taste imo, there's no one set of settings that makes things better. Just boost brightness and contrast a bit, the rest of the settings fuck around until it looks good to you.

But yes, factory extractions as a quick scav run are a pretty time efficient way of getting scav rep up... especially if you don't chase fights and only do a little looting. Extracting in the underground area by the metal door is generally safer than going upstairs to office to extract

On Reserve when I was doing a task in the underground area to kill raiders, I heard someone run down and VOIP me to ask if any PMCs were down here. I said I am a PMC and asked why, and he said he's a player scav trying to do a co-op extract. That might be the only time I've ever successfully done it without being killed
