all AI with stronger weapons and armour, raiders spawn under special conditions on reserve and replace scavs on labs, they speak a mix of USEC, BEAR and scav voicelines, rogues are exclusive to the water treatment plant on lighthouse and only speak english, typically but not exclusively carrying more western weapons, gear and armour, they will not aggro on player scavs unless attacked, will not aggro on USECs unless attacked or you enter their camp, if you do they will be aggressive to you for 3 raids, they target BEARs regardless though and cultists are a very rare enemy type that only spawns between 22:00 and 5:00, they have high HP and strong armour and ammo as well as suppressed guns but lack head protection, they rarely are hostile unless you get close or attack them and usually opt to try and stab you with their special "cultist knives" instead of shooting unless you were already hostile or got too close to the priest, they lack thermal signatures and are completely silent even while running

armor got kinda complicated now. It has the "hard"-plates and "soft"-armor. You ALWAYS want to play armor that has good coverage of both. There is now a lot of armor that has only good hard-plates (these you just thake the plates and run them in a different armor with good soft-armor aswell) and armor with only soft-armor (these are the worst armor in the game and after you progresses a bit you never use them).

I always insure all my stuff. There are some people who never insure. Its debatable what is the correct move. The one thing you can do if you insure is, that you can do insure-fraud. If you find something better in raid you through your stuff away and keep the stuff you found and then later get the insured stuff back.

Basically, Tarkov has 3 fundamentals.

1. Navigating the map and extracting.
2. Fighting.
3. Looting.
   If you are new the most important step is to learn 1, there is no point in trying focus on 2 or 3, if you can't do 1.
   Your goal should be to spawn and navigate to an extract. If you manage to do that you are already winning.
   To help with that you should open a map for the map you are running on your second monitor (or phone), best are interactive maps that you can find on the tarkov wiki.
   Just walking around the map will be already very deadly as pmc, but your goal is to play pmc as often as you can. Since the end goal is to be able to do quests as pmc.
   So you should alternate between playing scav and pmc and use the scav gear on your pmc until you can do point 1.

The quest structure of the game, first brings you to Ground Zero, then Customs and Woods. After you are done with the quests on Ground Zero. I recommend playing woods or/and customs as your first maps. Woods is the easiest map in the entire game, the only thing about Woods is understanding were you spawned, if you mastered that, you are on a good way to master the map. Customs is on the other hand is a lot easier to navigate but has more narrowing's on the map, making pvp more likely. Woods is harder to navigate but easier to survive while customs is easier to navigate but harder to survive.

Important is also to manage expectations.
You have to be a seasoned player to reach a survival rate of 50%.
So you are kinda expected to survive maybe 1 in 4 raids.

okay, let me get this. You play since 4-5 days. You are level 6. You are stuck on the Jaeger quest. You nearly never survive. But you already can navigate the maps. You kill at least 1 pmc every run.

So on one hand you are a very hard over achiever but fail at extracting? No normal new player who is on his 1 whipe and level 6 gets as many pmc kills as you seem to get.
If thats true, then you are very talented at the game, and you should just keep playing ...

@tame forge if Im honest (and you did not exaggerated) you are actully doing very good. Sure, you dont extract, but if you performing that good after 5 days on your first wipe, on level 6, while starting late into the wipe. If you keep playing you could become very good.

My advise is, if you truly want to do a quest and nothing besides that quest. You can take some food/water with you into the raid, chill the first 20min. Then go to the quest item, and extract in the last 10min.

• learn hotspots and avoid them, if you are questing. There is always a safe route
• Join in 19-20 pm, if you are questing and take your time. Scav players don´t join usually, pvp chads extract early, NVG chads don´t join yet

I have the same problem (rarely), I think its "something" new. Dont know why or how it happens. Pestille said its somebody using a vacum-loot hack, that will brick the server. But I dont trust the streamers, since there job is to talk all day, they also talk a lot of shit.
More likely is, thats a server problem, were the server is fixing your position because you desync. But no clue, if you can even fix anything there

Similar was happening to me on Customs, either I would spawn and constantly rubberband or I would keep losing connection and never connect to the game, two things that fixed it for me was clearing up my SSD, it was overloaded and only few gigs left and also I turned off Discord GPU acceleration, consumes way too much.

It just looks like desync. After you are killed you can see the name of the person who killed you, the button next to the their name allows you to view their profile, report for suspected cheat use and other things
