the main takeaway is that there are a lot of ways to die in this game that, especially when you're new, will seem suspicious but arent actually a result of cheating. having the mindset of jumping to "must've been a cheater" probably isn't great for your long term enjoyment of the game or for your ability to improve.

not trying to be toxic. the cheating problem is bad in this game for sure. it's very possible you did get cheated on. but until you have like 1500+ hours in this game, you're not really going to have a great sense of what is and isn't truly suspicious (outside of very obvious cases where they have 40+ kd or just instant 1 tapped your squad of 4 from 150m away)

never seen this. off the top of my head, my recommendations would be to clear the cache (its in a dropdown near the Play button in the launcher) then fully exit the launcher (with task manager to be certain). if that doesn't fix it, try restarting pc. if that doesn't fix it, i'd do some googling to see if there's any other quick suggestions before I just straight up re-install the game.

except that it does leave you open during that spray. especially if you start whiffing. and even if you don't whiff, you are now open to any other player / scav that's in the area. your shooting has alerted everyone and you staying in that same place and continuing to shoot is often enough time for those people to find and shoot you.

if you just take one or a couple quick shots and hide, the person you shot at (if they are still alive) and everyone else in the area is going to have a harder time pinpointing you and also has to be more hesitant to aggressively search for you since you're no longer pre-occupied.

You are just missing, and since your shooting slugs, its either 0 or 100% there is no inbetween. If the other person is leaning, you would have to aim way closer to the door frame then your doing.

And you shoot the wall once, like you hit him once when he goes into the middle of the door. But after that its all misses.

You also dont move at all, so he can prefire the exact same spot everytime he corsses the door

But if you want to run Streets, then just start also running scav there, its most of the time less action and you can learn the map faster.
Just alternate between pmc and scav. Also, if you are looking for other people to play with try #pvp-lfg

General advise is, you want to pool quests on maps, then run the map to do multiple quests at once. So, you want to run the maps were you have the most quests. Since quests will give you the fastest xp and level your traiders.

Just wait a little bit, make sure people left. Either go loot somewhere else, go to dorms later in the raid or just sit somewhere and wait for everyone to leave 🤷‍♂️

It’s hard to not die in Tarkov, but being below lvl 15 doesn’t make it easier 🙂
