They trigger voicelines which can help you determine the exact location of the boss and their guards

settings don't really effect much your fps or visiblity aside shadows/textures. (and anti aliasing)
turn graphic texture to medium/low,
shadows to low
LOD to 2.5 or 2.0
and visbility to like 1000-1500

the others like anti aliasing and such doesn't effect much your framerate. (FXA + TAA is usaully good, but this specific setting is pretty much self preferencesif you want objects sharper or not)
anything that can be set to low leave at low aside the ones i mentioned or check if you have a big FPS impact or not

-Stop running everywhere - sprinting is very loud and gives you away, it provides a lot of opportunity to ambush you. Whenever you're in high-traffic areas, be very disciplined about when you sprint.
-Have a goal in mind every raid, plan a route and try to stick roughly to it. If you notice a route failing 3 times in a row, change your route. This makes it easier to keep track of which routes actually work and which are reliably dangerous.
-Positioning is everything. In combat, frequently reposition, this is just one of the reasons map knowledge is critical and should be built and practiced ASAP. Pick your fights, don't be afraid to retreat
-Learn from every death, there's almost always a lesson, recording them and watching them back really helps improve
-Most importantly, have fun with it - don't be afraid to take a break if it's frustrating you too much.

Anyone knows why im getting "1000 Backend error" and crashesh in midgame or "server disconnect" .. I have never had this problem until yesterday and it continues.

yea, its really hard. theres a lot to learn, probably the best way to learn is to do it bit by bit, pick one map and practice its layout, you can do it for example in offline with no bots to just look around. then you can more confidently play the real thing. map knowledge is super important in tarkov so its better to know one or 2 maps very well than a lot of maps very vaguely

try to identify at which places there is usually the most fighting during a match and try not going there untill your more confident

Is there any logic to the colours of the extracts when you double-tap O? Sometimes they are green or red. I would assume red would mean it's not available (like a car extract was already used by someone) and green is confirmation that it is available. But I'm fairly certain that I've seen car extracts get taken and it not go red afterwards. And I've seen conditional extracts unlocked/activated despite them not being green. Is it just buggy or is there any actual reliable information you can take from this?

Car turns red after going away and extracts only turn green if youve activated the power yourself

I 100% just saw one of the ZB extracts go green in a Customs when I hadn't done anything. And I think I've seen car extracts stay white after watching someone else take them (though I could be misremembering and it was just that the car didn't spawn at all so I assumed someone had taken it).

If you walk past an extract it'll be green for you

And the car will be green if anyone is using it

but I have seen the car one be buggy

I was still near big red so wasn't walking anywhere near the zb extract. I suspect it's just buggy, but I remember it being buggy like this back in 0.12 so I wondered if I just didn't understand how it was supposed to work.

Any tips for shooter 4? Running gorno with apm rounds atm, neostar scope, getting a bit tired of not being able to shoot lying down. Bullets never connect but if I sit up they hit, seems like despite the barrel hanging a meter over the floor it still gets stuck in the ground. Super boring just camping lighthouse for this quest

They have different clothing, different voices and they just look different in how they act and how they react, if you throw a grenade or a flashbang, a scav is gonna shout and freak out, a player probably will move or do nothing

yeah i guess it really just comes with time(i've only got 30h on the game more or less), but pmcs that dress cheaply really mess with my brain and it gets really frustrating at times especially dying while having the advantage just because of hesitation. It kinda makes me want to ignore the karma system even tho i heard that the punishment is harsh, but i think i'll just bear through it

Scavs don't generally have weapon holsters on their legs or watches on their wrists

Some of the clothing does, but PMC usually has both

And again, throwing a grenade is like an instant way to tell if someone is a player or an ai

Lol, is the Degtyarov RPD any good? It kind of sounds OP in some cases, like in a sense that it breaks the ammo charts.

Armour pen doesn't matter when you can shoot 100 rounds in 8.5 seconds.

Yeah but the point is M4 is an investment, RPD is kind of something you find at lower levels.

No one's gonna buy an RPD if they wanna magdump like that, Vector does that job way better (even if it has a smaller mag), I'm sure.
