Early on your best options are:
UMP-45s (buy Knives at Fence and trade to Peacekeeper) with FMJ
Mosin from Prapor with SP BT is great if you like bolt actions,
KEDR or PPSH are both good for close-range high-damage guns you can spray legs or face with.
9mm guns like the Saiga-9 or MP5 have no recoil, they do no damage so you have to aim for the face, but they can be great laser beams
You can always go super cheap with the double-barrel. 5.25 buckshot is the best and only shotgun round worth running early on, aim at the face.

If you can find good 545 (PP, BP, BT, BS) or 762x39 (PS, PP, BP) then those are also options. AKS-74UB is unlocked after Prapors debut quest, you have no good ammo to buy for it, but it can work very nicely as a sniper if you throw a PSO scope on it, and it becomes nuts if you find some of that good 5.45

If you did not got spawned you need to wait for the game to find you a spot...i spawned on my scav even at 20 min waiting time... It dependes a lot on how many servers are up started with pmc's...

Double-tap O on your keyboard, it will show your extracts, some have certain requirement like Co-op requires both a scav and a PMC and V-EX requires roubles to use the car etc, some also require power switches.

I would recommend rebinding show time and exits to "O - Press", that way when you check the raid time it will show the exits always, rather than having to spam the O key

Early on your best options are:
Mosin from Prapor with SP BT is great if you like bolt actions,
KEDR or PPSH are both good for close-range high-damage guns you can spray legs or face with.
9mm guns like the PP-19 or MP5 have no recoil, they do no damage so you have to aim for the face, but they can be great laser beams
You can always go super cheap with the double-barrel. 5.25 buckshot is the best and only shotgun round worth running early on, aim at the face.

If you can find good 545 (PP, BP, BT, BS) or 762x39 (PS, PP, BP) then those are also options. AKS-74UB is unlocked after Prapors debut quest, you have no good ammo to buy for it, but it can work very nicely as a sniper if you throw a PSO scope on it, and it becomes nuts if you find some of that good 5.45

The key for tge truck spawns in a yellow jacket in dorms every single raid. You can go take it yourself, if its a problem you can for example go at night or on scav to take tge key, and then use it on a pmc run to get the watch

You have to find it really. Reserve raiders have it sometimes in their guns or get lucky in a weapon box. You can also wait till peacekeeoer 3 to barter for it

Its lightkeeper, you baisically need to nolife the game for the whole wipe to unlock him, hes like a real npc that hangs out at his lighthouse, he gives you some quests and from this wipe is suposed to be able to give you amulets that make some bot factions friendly i think

Also dont go tge island, tge bridge is mined and protected by a sniper boss, you need to unlock lightkeeper to go there
