Earlier today I was looking for a Scav raid on Ground Zero. The game showed Awaiting session start... for about 39 minutes. . Pressing ESC button didn't work.

After 39 minutes I got an error: Server connection lost it said. The Scav raid didn't count up to my total scav raids, but to do a new scav raid I had to wait 25 minutes again.

Does anybody know what went wrong?

GZ is terrible for new solo players, very campy and squaded. Do your tasks and move to customs. Lots and lots of quests on customs so learn to love it. Woods is "best" for a new player, you can avoid most combat but you WILL get head/eyes every few raids

Maps very linear, its either u run from one side to another side, forces u into combat against scavs/pmc's so gets u used to combat very fast as you will be dying alot, not alot of unaccessable areas where u need high stats to get into rat positions

Woods is super easy once youve run it a hand full of times. Learn the Highloot/High risk areas and play accordingly. As its winter right now PMCs stand out huge on woods. In summer its quite a bit harder

Early on your best options are:
UMP-45s (buy Knives at Fence and trade to Peacekeeper) with FMJ
Mosin from Prapor with SP BT is great if you like bolt actions,
KEDR or PPSH are both good for close-range high-damage guns you can spray legs or face with.
9mm guns like the Saiga-9 or MP5 have no recoil, they do no damage so you have to aim for the face, but they can be great laser beams
You can always go super cheap with the double-barrel. 5.25 buckshot is the best and only shotgun round worth running early on, aim at the face.

If you can find good 545 (PP, BP, BT, BS) or 762x39 (PS, PP, BP) then those are also options. AKS-74UB is unlocked after Prapors debut quest, you have no good ammo to buy for it, but it can work very nicely as a sniper if you throw a PSO scope on it, and it becomes nuts if you find some of that good 5.45

Honestly if you crouch to slow speed and have headphones then you should be able to bop the people if they are there not the best tip but you can try it just stay completely silent with the slowest crouch walking and move towards them or wait (generally ngl waiting a lot lot helps)

I have an issue with the game, I get almost 15 min loading times just for shoreline, Ill get in the raid 10 mins late and its the biggest disadvantage. If im playing with friends, they just have to wait for me to load in late after them just to get gunned down from players that have been there since the start of the raid. i have done too many different things to trouble shoot and not one thing has worked
