I mean, death is going to happen eventually regardless of what you take, if you only want to take a pistol and a backpack, go for it mate, if you want to take an AK or an M4 depending on faction, go for it mate, totally up to you.
Just make sure you have at least a firearm and a piece of gear (Backpack or Tactical Rig or Armour) otherwise ai scavs will hunt you down aggressively from the instant you spawn

Leading isn't much of a thing unless you're super far out, like 600m+ But it's mostly down to the specific bullet you are firing

Bullet drop is something to be worried about on the slower bullets, it's not super pronounced, one way to learn it a bit is using tracer rounds to get a rough estimate in your head

And every gun has a bullet they're zero'd to, whenever you raise or lower your scopes zero it's essentially where along two long lines of distance the bullet and center dot meet, based on the base bullet of the gun, which may be slightly further or closer than your bullet based on velocity

If your bullet is slower than the base bullet of the gun, found on the wiki, aim a little bit higher, if it's faster you can aim pretty much at the same spot

And have that become the base by which i increase or decrease the zero meaning if theres a target at 100 meters i zero to 300?

While I agree I do feel it helps you get that hand eye coordination and feel for gunplay in a close enviroment. Fights in arena are like the loght version of fights in escape since you font have to worry about third parties/looting /extracting/eating , and so on you can comcentrate on getting that automatic sense for fights

Yes, you just click the hideout button at the bottom left of the screen and it has the requirements when you click on the node. Magazine cases can be crafted at level 2. However, sell the magazines, and backpacks can stack on each other, and you can store stuff inside the backpacks when not using them.

After 39 minutes I got a error: Server connection lost it says. The Scav raid didn't count up to my total scav raids, but to do a new scav raid I have to wait 25 minutes again.

As a serial horder and just overall gear fear haver... the best way I have found is just to play how you feel comfortable. Youll horde and refuse to play your PMC until you realize you have like 200m and all the best guns, and your choices are quit for the wipe or start using your gear... and once you start using it, youll realize how strong it is and itll give you more confidence. So my most effective tip... just play, nobody starts with a lack of gear fear.. its just experience

No I am say worrying about losing loot is part of the experience. Conquering that comes with lots of experience. Try to play in a group, use maps on a second monitor or phone if you have one. Learning extracts changes the game a lot

Start in Woods(my suggestion, start anywhere but Factory). You want to get one map down well. Don’t spread yourself thin early on. Focus on getting good enough at one map you can always go back there and make money if you need to, then go learn others.

Use these maps - they'll look cluttered at first. Hit "Hide All" on the left-hand toolbar, then scroll down and only toggle on "Extractions" and "Locations". That'll give you a pretty good look - feel free to toggle on some loot options as you go

Head into a practice mode on one of those maps, toggle on some AI scavs, and try to get a feel for the map, movement, gunplay, scav killing, etc.
When you're ready - try to scav into one of those maps and actually get some loot out.
Then you can take your PMC in and try to do some quests or loot or simply survive.
Good luck - you will die, try to have fun with it.

slugs will have considerable drop but everything should be solid 100-150m

if you’re shooting at range the slugs will be quite a bit more accurate but they don’t really pen unless it’s ap20
