yes thats ok as a PMC(your main character), but when you play as a scav. you have to be more passive since theres a system called "scav karma", that can help you get better gear and even be friendly with more hostile ai with 6 karma

he meant his case is empty, but there is a similar thing regarding the mystery box tho. Its called the scav case and its in your hideout, you pay/trade a certain item and game will give you out a bunch of random items depending on what you spent. more spent means higher chance of rarer items

If you wanna loot,look for filling cabinets,gym bags,black boxes,long flat black boxes,and green crates ,there can also be loose loot on tables and such

Transfer valuables to your stash after a Scav raid. Then sell the rest to fence. If you’re really money hungry, transfer it all to your stash.
Just selling everything you got to Fence is barely profitable.
Yesterday I sold an entire Scav kit that had a DRD armor for 80K. The DRD armor itself on flea is like 60K.

Hey, I got a question,
I'm kinda new to the game (and lvl 7), and I struggle with a lot of things in the game :
- Surprisingly, I don't know all the maps by heart, but I start to know some of them the more I look into the interactive map on internet and the more I play in it. Is this a real issue ? I know how to locate myself quite easily but I need to alt tab to confirm my position, how is the best way to learn maps, aside from the training mode ?
- I keep dying. Even if I keep being slow and steady, checking corners, using reliefs as cover, vegetation as camouflage, etc (thx to Arma 3). Just like I learnt before. But apparently going to do a small raid just to grab a pocket watch is too difficult without getting spam camped by PMC snipers or rushed by an army of Scavs, with or without the max tier equipment I can use early game with no bunker crafting station and all lvl1 traders. I always die doing like what, 4-5 kills ? And if I can get the item, extracting without being camped is a challenge.
- And Stash management, I do a lot a scav runs to learn maps and gather equipments, but a lot of time, I got weapons that needs mag that I can't buy, or any ammos that I can buy at lvl1 traders. So everytime I die, I need to spend 60-70k rub to buy a proper gear and a gun that actually do damages to Lvl2 protection. Getting insurance for my stuff is costly and almost all the times I just gather back a helmet or something that I don't really need anymore.
That's why I'm asking for tips on "How to improve" at EFT, please ?

K so first using an interactive map is the easiest way to learn the maps but mostly playing then teachs you better then anything else. Second, you are gonna die a lot to geared plays cause it’s mid-late wipe and pvp is something that you kinda just gotta learn overtime. Only tips i can give is to use right hand peaks and try not to peak from the same spot twice. Lastly early game ammo sucks ass and using shotguns or smg’s is probably you best bet cause you can aim for legs or head and trying to kill then via flesh damage

I follow the "no gear-fear" tactic, but my money doesn't follow up. Ok I tried a lot of times buying Armor as advised, bringing meds, Ifak, etc..
It helps a lot, i'm not gonna lie.
But I always f up at some point and end up losing everything.
And I can't afford to buy a lot of full kits if I've already wasted like what, 7-8 already ? So 70-80k goes fast on my small bank account

Well for starters your scav is your best friend here, he can get you access to a free kit and a free way to get money
You can’t progress tasks with your scav besides the daily tasks fence will give you once your a certain level, 7 I think?

I heard that fence give tasks only when I have an Intel station in the bunker or my scav karma is <=-1

The intel 1 may be true, he will give you them at really any level until you get one of the scav karma redemption tasks

You lose it by shooting ai scavs, non traitor player scavs, scav boss guards and scav bosses, raiders, rogues, the goons and cultists are all fair game
You can gain karma by extracting as a scav, killing PMCs or traitor scavs, assisting the guards of a scav boss or a scav boss in killing a traitor scav or PMC and by taking vehicle extracts
