Armour steel goes down against rounds that pen it pretty quick but repairs very well and resists well against rounds that can’t penetrate it, ceramic repairs very poorly and crumbles quickly against both sustained fire and high AP rounds but can work well against protecting for a singular high pen round should the armour class allow it, combined repairs and deteriorates at pretty reasonable rates, aramid repairs fairly well but doesn’t hold well against punishment and HMLP repairs very well and does not deteriorate very fast

There is really only three more things I could teach you about so I might as well when I have the time

The medical system is pretty in depth, you have 440 total HP but it is split between your whole body

also there are different versions of tarkov, the main ones are standard edition and EOD, cheapest and most expensive, the middle ones are kinda irrelevant. if u buy u definitely wanna start with standard and then if u like the game consider upgrading, EOD saves a lot of time and is sorta "pay2win" u get some extra starting rep with the traders and a bigger stash space, few extra starting guns and bigger secure container

65 HP on both legs, 60 HP on both arms, 70 HP on your stomach, 85 HP on your thorax and 35 HP on your head

Besides receiving damage you can also receive light bleeds which take 2 hp every 2 seconds, fractures which only can happen on your legs and arms and are pretty uncommon which cause the affects of a “blacked” limb without the limb being blacked

Having a blacked limb means that it comes with additional penalties and any damage they take is spread to the rest of your limbs with a certain multiplier

A blacked arm makes your gun shaky, your arm stamina decreases quicker and you loot slower, it will stack with both arms

A blacked leg makes you unable to sprint unless under painkillers and jumping hurts you forcing you to walk on a limp, if both are blacked you cannot jump

I've had a game where I couldn't interact with anything except open doors. couldn't reload, heal swap weapons or anything. After exiting the game everything felt normal again (I did sell the gun because for some reason I tought my gun was the problem lmfao

it's correct, a couple tips... you can always just wait

so if it's a high traffic/quest area involving a key... you can always just camp elsewhere for 15-20 mintues to give you a better chance of getting it, or just go explroe and go there later in raid

Starting to get the hang off customs finally tho, knowing extracts, where people spawn ish where scaves are. So that's a good start

safer... also, for any factory quest, join a 5 man raid here, unless it's a PMC kill quest

much easier to survive and complete the quest

a couple of your early keys are only 1/1 use though

so higher level players may not have an extra lying around

but maybe, for instance i got 2 machinery keys just waiting for a noob who needs them

to get the pocketwatch

ok so after going back and forth from the stash to the hideout range

AK 12 is like day and night compared to RPK 16

RPK jumps around quite a bit while the only disadvantage of AK 12 is objectively high recoil kick at the start of the spray

and its then quite stable afterwards

but this just my opinion

I personally dont see the point of the rpk 16 after ak 12 was added. Its just a worse version of that gun. Its supposed to be a machinegun so less overgeating and all but there arent oportunities or incentives to do sustained fire for long enough for that to matter in this game

you run rpk loud imo especially with a drum ur gonna spam whatever you see to death anyway

if you were to bring it to woods I do not suggest you'd run the supp but thats it

one of the few games that benefit from being used loud instead of supp
