Basically, Tarkov has 3 fundamentals.

1. Navigating the map and extracting.
2. Fighting.
3. Looting.
   If you are new the most important step is to learn 1, there is no point in trying focus on 2 or 3, if you can't do 1.
   Your goal should be to spawn and navigate to an extract. If you manage to do that you are already winning.
   To help with that you should open a map for the map you are running on your second monitor (or phone), best are interactive maps that you can find on the tarkov wiki.
   Just walking around the map will be already very deadly as pmc, but your goal is to play pmc as often as you can.
   So you should alternate between playing scav and pmc and use the scav gear on your pmc until you can do point 1.

I recomend playing woods or/and customs as your first maps. Woods is the easiest map in the entire game, the only thing about Woods is understanding were you spawned, if you mastered that, you are on a good way to master the map.
Customs is on the other hand is a lot easier to navigate but has more narrowing's on the map, making pvp more likely (as in on customs you will probably run into more other people)

option 2 is you run woods night, and wear a good helmet like Ulach, then take some punishment from scav, heal up then rinse and repeat until <50%

a ledx is ~719000ruble. You need one for you medstation upgrade (but that one you can buy from the flea) and even as casual player you need one found in raid for a quest that gives you a thicc item case (a thicc item case is worth around 4,6 mil ruble). Meaning the first ledx you find in raid is worth a lot as long as you do: https://escapefromtarkov.fandom.com/wiki/Private_Clinic. There are later on other quest were you need ledx and there are barter trades were you need ledx's.

• only quests left are tedious ones like kill 10 scavs with melee on every map

• PVP is alright but kinda irrelevant when can open one of the many thiccs and grab another load out within seconds just to queue in again

It’s a karma system, everytime you survive a scav run, you get 0.01 or .02 on your karma. It’s for Fence guys. You get extra boost if you do Co-op (PMC-Scavs) extra. The more rep u have, the better scav’s gears, shorter cooldown and once you max it out (I believe 6.00), you get a better offer from Fence, you can follow Boss and kill PMC with him 🤣 look it up on Youtube.

@crystal niche also you lose 1.40 for killing other scav players, never ever kill a scav on scavs run unless he hit you, now you get even more karma for killing that rouge scavs

to get an empty raid

you need servers that are idle

and ready to be played on

so basically lets say that you have most players playing on central EU servers

or servers that games are initiated on

if you can get servers that are empty

lets say its 4am in like russia servers ish

i remb i think the as val? if you modded it while the gun was folded, and put on a stock that you wouldnt be able to fold, you would have to remove the stock, put on a foldable stock, unfold and then mod it again

for factory office kills, secure perimeter, try night time factory, because there is a quest were people need to go to the office, meaning it is a lot more likely to see people at office in nighttime then in daytime

you can find adrenaline injectors on every map, best spots are probably: medic camp on woods, medic building on reserve, on streets in the lexos area were the broken gate is and in the building with the broken wall in a back room and crack house on customs, as some examples

These days, if I want to loot as scav, I just go streets, it has everything (besides some lighthouse only stuff)

you can even do night time streets with out nvg's, it has very nice night time lights, but there will be corners were you are at a disadvantage with out nvg's

just start out as scav and just loot were you spawn, use a map to navigate and just explore the map do that 3-4 times and you should now the basic of the map

it is, but it also has a lot of extracts around the map, its not like customs were you spawn at A and need to get to B or spawn at B and need to get to A

Navigating all the insides of the buildings is the difficult part, but navigating on ground level and on the streets is easy.

Finding your extracts is surprisingly easy

I have not been extract camped once on streets. It has to much diffrent extracts for it to work.
My secound advise for streets is, after you know the layout of the map, start using keys. Key rooms are all over the map and a lot lest contested then on maps like customs.

its surprisingly easy to understand the basic of the map, the only thing difficult are the buildings that have multiple floors. Just start scaving it, I think you will have the basics of the map down after 3-4 runs (if you don't spawn in the same spot all the time)

It can be a bit disorienting at first, but it's a really fun map to explore yourself, go into offline mode and have fun w it

@pearl copper btw I did the "suicide" into edge sniper for the quest, only did 20 dmg to the armor. So yeah, you have to do that like 3-4 times. And one hit nearly insta killed me, and the sniper missed the 2 shot. Only did it once. But I already had it down to 78 from a scav I was running in front of before. So I was done after 1 sniper hit and through it into the water.

Because pistols are (probablly) the least played weapon type in the entire game, so spending their time on other weapons makes more seense over all.
