OH definitely. I have been playing for 18 days now, a total of 22ish hours in game. My mistake was hopping into the game with no knowledge and having done no research. after the first hit the armor becomes '3.8' or whatever depending on the round hit you and how much armor damage it did

this is also why ammo doesnt just have Pen 3 or pen 4

but has pen 3.3

and all this is effecting by a bit of randomness, distance, if the shot penned anything else, ect ect
