Ehhh right now sugar is only going for 20k (so 40k for the craft), purified water is worth 175k, moonshine is worth ~250k, so right now you make about 35k before fees, and whatever fuel costs, for 3hrs of crafting time.

So it's ok right now, works out to like 11k/hr. But gets worse when the price of sugar goes up.

you might want to double check insurance- if you insure a gun, then swap parts, those specific parts will not be insured unless you insure them specifically in the gear window, even though the gun's inventory box is tagged insured

If u're just starting customs map is your best friend. Easy extracts, tons of loot (crackhouse, big const, green screen, and a lot more)

2nd best for the beginners is woods (it's a litlle bit harder cuz u have to play in the forest, but there is ton of a loot. Mosin, big pack and you good to go)

if u're intermidate SHORELINE is the best map for the loot, same as reserve. APROX ~ 800k per run if you have the keys

would also advise to try to scav customs

Basically, Tarkov has 3 fundamentals.

1. Navigating the map and extracting.
2. Fighting.
3. Looting.
   If you are new the most important step is to learn 1, there is no point in trying focus on 2 or 3, if you can't do 1.
   Your goal should be to spawn and navigate to an extract. If you manage to do that you are already winning.
   To help with that you should open a map for the map you are running on your second monitor (or phone), best are interactive maps that you can find on the tarkov wiki.
   Just walking around the map will be already very deadly as pmc, but your goal is to play pmc as often as you can.
   So you should alternate between playing scav and pmc and use the scav gear on your pmc until you can do point 1.

I recomend playing woods or/and customs as your first maps. Woods is the easiest map in the entire game, the only thing about Woods is understanding were you spawned, if you mastered that, you are on a good way to master the map.
Customs is on the other hand is a lot easier to navigate but has more narrowing's on the map, making pvp more likely (as in on customs you will probably run into more other people)
