one is called Emercom Checkpoint and the other one is called Railway Exfil

they are both on the exact opposite sides of the maps

since PMC spawn points are usually around the edges of the map, players are guaranteed to spawn on the half of the map closer to emercom/railway

and if that's the case, then their extract will be the opposite side

so if a player spawns standing next to emercom checkpoint, they will have a 100% chance to have railway exfil as their extract

which is in itself probably a struggle for new players

Learn player spawns, try not to make much noise, and remember that noise is everything to know if there is someone near you

assuming ur solo, try to go silenced as much as possible, so you dont get run down by groups

customs has 4 possible sniper scav spawns, but you do run into pmcs in close range more often
shoreline has 3 possible, so you can go there

but ofc then you have to play shoreline...

Recomendation is, to play the same map as scav and pmc, so you have an easier time as pmc, since you already know the map. That said. Interchange is not a map very any early quests are on, and it is in my opinion also a very difficult map to learn as beginner, if you are playing pmc.
Easiest map is Woods, only thing difficult about it is knowing were you are.

Factory is THE pvp map and also it has (compared to other maps) abysmal loot. On average you lose money playing factory.

my advise is, don't try to make tones of money in your first runes, your main goal should be to extract, if you happen to find something loot it, but its not that important.
After you know how to extract, then you can start refining your runs and find the loot.
But there is no point in looting, if you can't extract.

Basically, Tarkov has 3 fundamentals.

1. Navigating the map and extracting.
2. Fighting.
3. Looting.
   If you are new the most important step is to learn 1, there is no point in trying focus on 2 or 3, if you can't do 1.
   Your goal should be to spawn and navigate to an extract. If you manage to do that you are already winning.
   Just walking around the map will be already very deadly as pmc, but your goal is to play pmc as often as you can. So you should alternate between playing scav and pmc and use the scav gear on your pmc until you can do point 1.

don't just do tasks at random. See which ones on the wiki lead to more, do those first so you can get tons of quests available. Don't waste time doing search mission for example cuz it leads nowhere, open up your quests so when you do a woods raid you have plenty of quest things to do.

Play scav, put the gear from your scav on your pmc, play pmc and learn the map like that and in the optimal case you also manage to do quests as pmc.

Also use your scav to loot the stuff you need for Hideout upgrades.

You should try to aim for 1 extract for every 2 deaths, if your brand new.

There is no correct answer for that. You can play Tarkov fast or slow, it depends on what you prefear.

yes, scav are under geared, thats why they are "free". The more you play scav, the higher the rep for Fance gets and the higher the chance to get better gear on your scav, but you have to play a lot of scav for that.

In my experience, if you have cheaters is more dependend on the region were you play then what map you play. Asia, Ocianic, Afrika, S-America seam to have the most.
