Bears start with ak's and BP ammo that's a tiny bit better than the m855 usecs start with, however bears get shot on sight by lighthouse rogues, whereas usecs can get a bit closer

I like ak's more so i'm going with bear this wipe, cheaper to get early game mods for them too

Also bear's russian voices are so much better acted than any usec voice

There's also a gun that's relatively easy to get and mod, the UMP from Peacekeeper. At Loyalty Level 1 you can barter the UMP for 4 black-hilt knives (not brown-hilts) and 1 bayonet knife. These can be found on scavs in raids, but also purchased from Fence if you'd need to. From there you could purchase the KAC Foregrip from Peacekeeper, and a flashlight/laser of your choice. Buy two extra mags from Peacekeeper and 75+ rounds of .45 ACP FMJ from him as well, and you're good to go. I enjoy using that gun here in my first wipe.

they might add the faction on streets, that is not shooing on bears on sight but on usec. So you might have Lighthouse "safe" for usec and Streets for bears. But we don't know that. There a lot of people that dislike bears, because of the broken english they speak.

13 kills that last one, but a few Saiga and Vepr kills in there. I'm gonna bring more ammo and do only mosin the entire time. That was on Easy though, I'll do As In Online with High.

The big upside of the m4 is, that you can mod the weapon and reduce the recoil a lot, but the downside is, that the ammo is "under performing" early and mid game.
On the other hand there are tons of different ak versions. With Ak's you have the choice between different amon types. You will get exess to the 7.62x39mm PS gzh from Prapoer LL2. That is in my opinion one of the best early/midgame ammo for an beginner.
While there is a very solid argument that the m4 is over all the better weapon, it is not better if it is unmodded and has bad ammo.

I intend to play next wipe (few days hopefully) and was trying to remind myself best ways to lvl PMC fast.

I.e. each raid make sure to sprint without yellow load, and sprint with yellow load, eat/Drink for metabolism even if it's not needed

Is there anything else? I heard unloading a clip even if it doesn't hit anything helps with levelling recoil or something too?

the random spikes you are getting might also get fixed with the added virtual memory, I remember my brother having horrendous fps spikes every now and again which were a lot better afterwards. Although he was running 8gb ddr3, i5 4690k and gtx 970

yea that usually happens after major updates, probably been reset since the latest large patch mid / late july

if you can afford it I'd highly suggest another 8gb ram stick, it's really worth it for tarkov, and most other games nowadays, you just have to check that frequency and latency are the same on the new one as the one you already have

The gun themselves don't matter too much it's the ammo. With wipe likely tomorrow be sure to run down those punisher quests. You'll unlock a lot of 5.45 ammo that is very good. The 7.62 ps ammo is very serviceable early wipe which I believe is now prapor lvl2. A completely stock AK shoots the same ammo as a 400k mega Chad perfect gun. The modding of the gun only really effects recoil and things like stamina use while using the weapon.

Anyone got any general rules of what I should do when I’m being suppressed by fire. If you want to guarantee profit, you can always enter the cycle of scavving and offline-PMCing/Practice Mode while your scav is on cooldown. Scavving can only make you money. Practice mode is great for learning maps, cache runs, and getting good at killing scavs and scav bosses, and other core mechanics like hipfire. It's literally impossible to lose any money doing this, so it just stacks up while you learn a lot

Tarkov has ping limits so if your friend is too far away it can be hard to play together. Try to manually select server in the launcher before starting the game which are in between both of you.

No we don't. I'd imagine it's much like the dynamic quest item spawns where there are a set amount of locations a container -can- spawn and every raid is generated randomly from that set

my guess is, that they will be random inside a fixed location. Maps in tarkov are designed around certain points of interested. Take the medical camp on woods, my guess is, that the medical containers are now in random locations inside the medical camp-location, but not randomized all around the entire woods map, because the maps are not designed like that.

the hidden stashes are very farmed, I'm 50-50 on them. My guess is that they are also a bit more "random" in a little zone from were they used to be, but still in basically the same location.
