I am not a dev and do not know. In my experience, unlike a player, Birdeye fires immediately after he cycles the bolt.

A regular player using a bolt action shoots, cycles the bolt, re-aims, re-acquires the target, and then fires again.

Whereas Birdeye does not have to re-aim and re-acquire the target. He can just immediately fire.

Welcome! Easiest things to work on right away are using your alt click and control click to move items every single time.

You should never EVER click and drag. Unless moving something from your backpack to your rig. Get used to doing that and you will be ahead of most.

Wipe is almost over so spend this time getting over the early learning curve so you can start the next wipe somewhat prepared.

Woods is best map to learn in my opinion. You can pick fights if you want to practice pvp and you can stay clear if you dont want to fight. This late in the wipe I would try to avoid PvP as a new player, ratting and leg meta if you can't avoid it. Fleeing is always an option, nobody forces you to stay in an uneven fight. You can hide or run away suprisingly easy if you know where to go. A lot of players hesitate to persue for fear of an ambush.

If you can't avoid it get a kedr-B, load it with high flesh damage and magdump kneecaps. No armour on those so you can freely burn trough their healthpool.

For scavs the trick is to break line of sight for a moment. They'll completely forget about you and go about their day as if nothing happened. Bosses rogues raiders etc are a pain so expect to die a lot while you learn and even after.

Hiding in a bush for a while is also an option while you wait out the PMC's, a lot tend to rush from one end of the map to another in ten-fifteen minutes, giving you free reign of the map after they leave. Going in at nighttime tends to be somewhat safer as fewer players play at night thus quieter raids. Exceptions apply especialy on thermal scope infested woods.

Otherwise you could group up in this discord and ask some help with your objective, most people don't mind if it's on the way. There is strenght in numbers but also confusion as to who is friendly and who is enemy so it has it's own risks.
