As a new player aswell I would advise sticking on missions given by traders
This way you won't feel lost and you are going to progress plus learning the map at the same time and unlocking items in shops
Focus on staying alive than going straight for the kill.
And most af all if you are a fps gamer you know how important peeking corners is, in this game is serious stuff, right peak preferred since the camera is slightly right, left peeking you will have a worst view and will be easier for the enemy to spot you, think like your player only got 1 right eye to see lol

It’s a little hard to snipe at the moment unless you are really patient or play during peak.

The game is completely different the first month of wipe than right now. So many people at the start of wipe to snipe if you camp quest spots.

Practice a bit with the mosin, ammo and scopes matter a lot more in sniper rifles than the rifle itself and 7.62x54 LPS is just about the strongest round you can get your hands on at low levels. Even at end wipe it's still perfectly viable because almost nobody uses helmets above class 4 armour.
One tip though, always bring a backup weapon like a pistol or kedr when running bolt action rifles to fight up close.

What level are you? MP7 is kinda difficult to use but possible until you are Mechanic 4 (lvl 40) because that’s when you unlock 40 rounders

UMP is decent but not very good this late into wipe with FMJ.

Flechette is really good but lacks at range quite quickly fast.

Need some resources/guide regarding shooting anxiety/hesitation to shoot. I'm frequently hesitate about whether or not I should shoot a scav/pmc as a scav to retain the scav reputation. As from the leaks/news that there will also be a usec/bear reputation, I want to learn about it to prepare for the next wipe... (I'm totally new, but anxious to progress (not because of loot loss, but some unknown mechanics like scav rep that I've gone and reduce it to - 1.02 that I currently crawl my way back up to 0.39 or so)

What's the better way to run guns after you get a kill using a budget kit? If you obtain a meta gun, should you:

A. Strip the attachments and forget the gun
B. Take the gun, stash it, hold onto it until late wipe when you have better skills OR use the meta gun when you get meta armor
C. Sell the gun and either run/sell the attachments
D. Run it straight away.

i wouldnt suggest u run a meta m4 if u havent done cult

because then you cant get good ammo for example

Hmm what if you've only been hitting up stashes and been obtaining a safe amount of ammo to run the kit at least a couple times?

I agree with that. I see YouTubers like to strip the attachments and take the mag, ig that wouldn't really be a strat early wipe

they take attachments cus m4 is 70k to buy

not worth taking the whole gun

I guess then, should i try to upgrade a weapon like the M4 with their stripped attachments or sell the stuff and run another budget kit
