supposedly the new strength changes were made to reduce the gap between having level 1 strength and elite strength skill. So if you're at the lower end of the strength skill, you will feel like you can sprint longer and inertia doesn't affect you as much.

But BSG wasn't very clear on how they implemented those changes, so it's been a gong show of everyone saying the game feels better/worse.

At the bottom of the new tab you’ll see a bunch of parts

All weapons boil down to the receiver

On ar platform rifles they also have an upper and lower receiver and I think it’s the lower one that it is boiled down to

Anyways, you can take off parts you want to replace

What you can do to find compatible parts is do a linked search on the part it connects to

Like on an ak, you take off the hand guard, do a linked search on the gas tube and you’ll find what handguards you can use

The workbench also allows you to save preset weapons and buy all mods in one go and auto assemble

It is very handy but not necessary for weapon modding
