I suggest doing some offline raids with your settings set to ‘as online’ and a YouTube guide of map extracts and locations

They will spawn around you, I killed 9 on customs earlier they kept coming

Oh, ok. This makes a little more sense. I was looking at a map and saw I was in an area where a scav spawned, I killed him, and as I was looting him I heard more. I didn't know if there were general "rules" for the ways scavs spawn in, or how many in an area, or how often they spawn in an area.

I play a lot on offline mode with easy scavs as I'm new to Tarkov and also new to playing with KBM - so big learning curve for me right now.

Im having good experience with the binaural audio in terms of directional sound. Except shoreline resort, vertical is fucked there. But otherwise positive. You could try it out

The biggest tip I would I say is ctrl+left click to transfer items into your inventory so you dont have to click and drag. Same with alt+left click to equip an item. Extremly helpful to pick up a weapon/armor off a dead body if you need it fast. Also during the healing animation you can reload your weapon by right clicking the mag and then clicking install. This makes it so you dont have to do the reload animation.

Also the sorting table in your stash is huge. You can shift left click an item into it so that way you can organize your stash.

I can't speak to the audio issues I'm hearing a lot about because I'm so new to the game. At this point I just need more time in the game to really get a grasp on the audio I am hearing. Right now, I hear a shot and I just have NO clue how close or far it could be. It's so loud it seems like it's right next to me but then I don't see or hear anyone.

One thing that I did when I was learning was like a tarkov gun game on offline. Id kill a scav, run over to there body, grab there gun, and then use it to kill the next scav. Good way to practice grabbing weapons/loot extremly quickly. Id grab the rig, gun, run to a safe location and then search the kit.

a raider is an AI that i would say is more difficult to kill then a normal scav

Its an AI scav. Think of it like as different tiers, you have regular scavs that can either be player controlled or bots, the next tier up is raiders (these are only computer controlled, they have higher tier loot, and are more agressive thrn like a regular scav), then you got scav bosses/guards, goons and the cultists.

I know from experience that if you damage a scav boss as a scav you get tagged and cursed (basically regular scavs will chase you down and kill you even if you have good rep) I wasnt sure if the same would happen if you kill/damage a raider.
