If you get a far spawn it's often worth it to circle around instead of W keying at resort

Ok... I am desperate now... I am level 28, first wipe, I've put in 247h so far and I at first enjoyed the game greatly.
I am honest, I am a rat... I think (At least if I hold Lvndmark against me - which I watch a great deal in hopes of getting better...)

I am trying missions, pvp and generally whatever comes in front of me and depending on spawn.
Since about 1-2 weeks now though my fun continuously starts going down further and further.

Every once in a while I play with a few friends and they tell me... yeah man, its the ammo, and I believe them based on stats...
But... I have upgraded my gear that I take into raid to even level 5 armor if I have it. I take out either an MDR or an Modded ADDR (formerly I worked with AK's but I found them too unprecise for my liking on medium / long range) with the best ammo I can buy... I don't believe I play differently weather I have expensive shit or cheap. . . so I don't think I have gear fear, and I actively seek out conflict from time to time to get better, a sneaky kill or something juicy out of a player I believe sounds heavy, or looks packed...

So now to my question, what am I doing wrong, or where do I have to look for improvements. I eat shit all the time since about 1-2 weeks now...
Every time I die I check via video to look what I did wrong I failed 59 raids out of 71 so about 80% in the last week alone... and those where I escaped I have not seen a player, sometimes not even a skav.
I now had 5 raids one after the other, where I just got 1 tapped by either a pistol, an UMP full-spray or to make matters worse, a scav. I Lost 3 level 5 armor 2 level 4, with helmets of only level 4 (all but one of them with face shield)
And well... I am out of ideas. I have no idea where to get new gear from (outside of grabbing a scav) and basically starting from 0.
I will do that in a bit... but... what can I do... to NOT get 1 tapped... or just sprayed to death from 100 meters (no kidding, I checked with range finder before)

You'll hear his bait shots pretty early on if he spawns. You can try to take him from really long range, using sniper mountain - that's the safer method, but he may be out of sight.
Otherwise just push him, lots of people hunting him right now so get there quick and check his common spots.

this is my first serious wipe getting to lvl 30 but every time I get into a PMC raid im still kinda scared. Especially at daylight running around. Gotta work on my gameplay. Tho I have only lvl 3 cover movement and a lot more endurance and str.

I have to do quests on reserve now, but my experience of the PMC reserve runs, is that I load in, get runnin' and sniped from a good 120m in the first 10 seconds.

is there any way for me to ease the tension? I mean e.g. in interchange, getting in with a fairly budget build UMP on me lvl 4 armor and shit, and when I hear someone running around I usually freeze in place instead of fighting them. And when I get caught off guard, I'm dying pretty soon 😦

Don't know where it comes from, is it gear fear or instinct but I just wanna get in there and smoke some people.

Is it safe to assume that recoil of the baseline SKS with iron sights (aiming down the sight) really hard to control if you fire all 10 rounds in 3 seconds?
