What helped me alot is not getting to greedy, especially with loot. Just because you see all those awesome screenshots of people carrying like 1 mil rubles out of raid doesn't mean you have to do the same.
If you kill someone and get their gear, it is fine to extract after that. Of course you can min max ur raids but in my opinion you shouldn't always do that, and especially not at the beginning if ur new.

update:
Tried a night run at 10 PM and 3 AM in customs
still died both times to PMCs

spawned both times near the 4 huge tanks, so the east side of the map
took me a while to get out of the warehouses, neither did I get a key
I however got a Scav kill
so in those two raids I got around 300 exp total

how do you win peek fights in this game?

i dont understand. i slow peek and im dead before i even see them. i always lose when someone has an angle

if you feel like somebody has an angle, or an angle is too dangerous to peek; don't
It's a matter of luck at the end of the day
but I've seen people do a quick peek by pressing 3 keys at the same time or something; but that video I saw was old

if you're gonna peek down in a hallway; maybe run past and middle look to see if someone has is peeking there, and if not; hold the angle yourself
and always Right hand peek

They're not guaranteed if there not there they don't show up, if V-Exit is red that means it's already been taken.

It enhances the way you receive Audio, all headsets do it differently. Some of them got more base, more highs etc.

And yeah u can hear a bit further
