Severe muscle pain takes like, 60-70 hours iirc to clear. Idk exactly how long, but it's bad to get. Once you can use the gym again, just do it once, wait for the mild muscle pain to go away (should just be daily or less), then gym away again. Doing the gym while you have mild pain gives you half as much anyways, and you have to wait more than twice as long, so it's worth it just to use it whenever the mild debuff drops.

Whenever there's gunshots, I can't tell where they are coming from. It takes 5-6 shots before I can judge direction and distance is out of the question. Sometimes close shots sound close and far sounds far but sometimes it's the opposite. Today I started getting shot and was taking hits and had no idea where the shots were coming from. I had to turn around 360 slowly until I visually acquired the scav that was 40m away with a shotgun blasting me. Footsteps work fine and are useful.

@ancient ferry yea, first scav run on eu was like 1 mil loot and an armor repair kit lol...some traitor scav shot my stomach before i killed him so i had to exfil early
