Hello everyone! So I am not sure if it's a bug or a feature - this is why I am asking here.
Since ~3 days, I cannot start a game as a scav anymore. The game tries to find a game for an eternity (30min+), if I cancel and try again it's the same. I tried all maps and all times without success.
My scav reputation is not that bad (0.19).
I am still a beginner so I am unsure if something else could prevent from playing as a scav, I don't have any issue with my PMC.

to get over gear fear one must realize two things

1. the gear sitting in your stash does you no value
2. using the better gear will make you a better player

starting off with point number 1. if you have good gear just sitting in the stash, its simply a cosmetic at that point, youre just staring at it thinking of "the perfect raid" to use it in and itll never come because you will never find the perfect raid. if your afraid of not getting "the value" out of your gear then might as well sell it and run cheaper kits with the money you made from the gear there isnt any right or wrong way to use gear besides simply not doing anything with it.

2. the better your gear (armor, ammo, meds) it allows you to make more mistakes, you get to tank an extra bullet or two, you get to repair that arm that got blacked, and maybe the scavs buckshot ricochets off ur helmet cos u brought one in and ur raid didnt end 10 minutes short.
   having good gear wont make you a chad but it enables you to do better than if you were to not run ur best kit

Because nobody but you knows where you're at in terms of quests or hideout, or what barters/crafts you're trying to save for, you have 2 options. It's otherwise impossible to know, without significant experience or asking other people every time, what you'll need anytime soon, or what sells for substantial money to other players.

Option 1) Set a particular goal - maybe two or three hideout upgrades you want and get your list of like 5-10 items together. Sell everything else. This is the most "to hell with inventory management" approach, and you'll certainly sell things that you'll need again or could have sold for more, but you'll spend much more of your time in-raid.

Option 2) Check everything using https://tarkov-market.com/ and the info it provides for quest/hideout/barter/crafting requirements and for flea prices. Then you can decide what things you'll need soon enough, and which items sell for enough, to hold onto. This is quicker in the long run and more profitable, but is tedious.

For example, if you were checking 'Bolts' you would type it in and see this screen. You could then decide if any of those quests or hideout upgrades are close enough to save for, or if the extra money you'd get on the flea would make it worthwhile to hold onto until you hit level 15.

Fear is real in DayZ, worse than Tarkov gear fear imo, so much time spent getting good guns to die to some guy, and DayZ gunfights are intense, but fun like you said

Yeah it’s nice. You can find loot still and stuff but you can just chill knowing there’s no chads coming. Also just listen to some music and learn the maps

I was at NWAF right, I heard a shot but everything was quiet after. I run into a building for loot, and get sprayed down by an M4 nearly losing my life. I manage to survive, but get knocked out, I wake up to my guns off my back and all my weapons gone. The guy started to yell at me and I got an idea. He told me to put my hands up, so I did. He told me drop my sniper as I did have one in my bag with ONLY 1 round chambered. I pretended I couldn't without putting my hands down. So I dropped my gun with my hands down, he dropped his guard to pick it up, so before he could, I picked the rifle back up, and with the 1 round I chambered in it earlier, I popped him in the head.
