DLSS is a wonky way to cope with bad rigs, the way it works is by using a lower resolution and "cheating" to upscale it, it will give you an edge on FPS while sacrificing clarity, never use it if you can afford too ^^

Okay, so for the maps, use this: https://tarkov-market.com/, prioritise a map, and do your scavs on it, woods and lighthouse are pretty safe and money filled, custom is the "starter standard" but will ask you to avoid some spots where you could get into chads.

For the price of items, you can use https://tarkov-market.com/, and yes its a learning curve, as you will end up having an idea of everything price in mind.

For what is making a weapon good, it depends on your playstyle, but for full auto you want some recoil reduction, and for semi you probably want ergo and be lightweight, ammo is very important too as for a specific caliber, penetration, damage and ballistics can vary greatly.

Use the wiki a lot, for ammo and for your quests, and learn how to use magenie to plan your games and know your needs, for exemple in terms of keys.
