Tips for anyone who is new to Tarkov

1. Ask as many questions as possible

2. Online map genies are your best friend. Get comfortable with the map, it takes time

3. Look up the the ballistic chart. Best way to determine best penetration on armor is to find out what rounds have an higher sum near 36 (6 across all 6 armor lvls). Also tbh, ignore all rounds that will try their best to match RIP rounds until you actually unlock them. These are deadly against unarmored body parts

4. Don't be afraid of PVPing, you only get better by testing your mettle

5. Don't be afraid to going in solo. You need to better yourself. If you roll with a team, and are still trash, then you benefit no one, not even yourself. Focus on Growing yourself

6. As a Scav, you're there to loot and make a profit...not engage enemies unless in self defense.

7. Be weary of META. Unfortunately, it's a heavily META driven game as TTK with meta weapons far surpass more unused builds, that speaking...you can still get by just fine without meta, but it won't be the best experience. Do what you enjoy though

8. Frags are your best duo partner as a solo. Use them before a push. Use them to cover reloads

9. Peakers advantage exists across all online games. Learn it, abuse it. With the right tactic of course

10. Less people roam maps at night. So learn the map, then navigate as pmc at night to get passive Quests done easier.

11. Show confidence in firefights. Enemies are constantly reading you. If they smell blood, they will bite harder

12. Accept that getting better will take time.

13. Enjoy the game
