Fresh one won't jam and can hit a head sized target at 100m unlike the broken down ones. Durability effects mechanical accuracy and chance of failure.

Take things slow, something that increased my SR by about 20% was only sprinting when you absolutely need to, such as when you need to run to cover

Try to stick to one or two maps and become a master at them, if you want to learn a new map, I would say to use your scav first and also to look at mapgenie.io

From my experience with teaching new players who literally didn't know how to load magazines. the lower recoil 5.45 guns yielded more head shots on average for the first 20 ish raids. After that they grew into the 7.62x39 guns once they understood pacing.

Cases are pretty nice - buy what you need to get an ammo case from the Mechanic barter.
Medcase barter is also nice - but you can buy the medbag if you want something a bit cheaper.
Docs case barter is worth it if you ever use keys.
I'd suggest buying any keys you want -I like the dorms safe keys (105,110,114,204,214) - some great money there that's often overlooked, not to mention the only spot to reliably find flashdrives.

you just need most of the pellets to hit, if you stand close its the most likely but further away its also perfectly possible with a little bit of rng on your side
