usually 1 stack of spare ammo should be more than enough to last you through a raid. additionally you always want to keep a space in your rig for mags, for example your mags are 1x2 slots, so you should keep a 1x2 slot opening in your rig for when you reload

because when you reload the game checks if you have spare room in your rig, and if not the reload will go through but you will drop your mag
