It gets you caught pretty easily so it's generally not used. Discord is a much better way if you're playing with people. The only time it comes in handy is on rare occasions you can voip with somone because you're doing a quest or something and or if you're scavs and sharing loot. The only other time it's used is when a scav and player interact for a join extract (common way is scav takes out melee during the whole interaction so the players (the one's who brought stuff in) aren't taking a risk of being shot by the scav. The can only be utilized on a few maps such as interchange, woods, and reserve (the most common one is reserve since extracts for the average pmc are pretty limited)

Best advice i can give is USE PRACTICE MODE and turn on AI scavs, get used to shooting people and using weapons
Once you're comfortable hitting your shots on people you're survival will go up drastically
cause hit shots are better than missed shots 100% of the time
