It's tarkov, you are never safe until you are in your stash, this spot particularly is imo pretty easy to counter, if this guy knows how to fight like hell, then he surely knows he must run outside the hallway and then quickly back inside, if someone starts shooting at him, he can just quickly run it through, a far worse spot is the one where you camp it from the hallway leading from dome, you can't really counter that, but then again, it's tarkov, no one can tell you how you should play it

It's a non rp mil-sim, there's no 'correct' way to play it, you can run around with meta gear crushing the skulls of everyone you come across, you can sit on a hill and snipe, you can play slowly, or you can just quickly loot something and get out
