With awaiting session start, when you see that for more than like 1-2 minutes you should ALT F4 and rejoin the match as you're probably already in the raid.

That's a very old bug.

I'd also suggest clearing the cache in the launcher.

if you have checksum error, there are methods to delete the temp files downloaded by the game in "game install folder">BsgLauncher>Temp. Delete the file inside that folder after having already closed the game/launcher. Then restart launcher and see if the problem persists, note that it will have to download the update again as that is where it is stored while updating.

its an error i got once and drove me crazy, that method worked for me but others have had issues where they had to tinker with appdata files, my expertise ends there as I didn't have to go that far in fixing it.

But whatever you do don't use someone elses files, it can brick your install and you have to reinstall sometimes.

you could try pinging a tarkov server through command prompt, in command prompt in windows type "ping 5.188.1.21" that should be the johannesburg server for tarkov. If you get return packets then its not your net provider and likely the launcher itself

found that, someone had some luck with getting the launcher to play nice

obviously that will delete your settings tho so always make sure you make a copy of the files you delete somewhere else in case the fix does not work

my friend had that issue but other applications also had problem. He replaced his computer but that is not a fix. Try and reinstall and make sure to remove all battlestate games folders with another reinstall if the first reinstall doesnt work. That is all i can think of but that is some scorched earth method and you will lose all your settings and stuff doing it

Basically you need to get your email back. The paypal isn't enough, cuz they can't know for certain you're using it or not. They can't give you a fresh account, because that would be giving a free game. Your email is the only way of confirming you're the owner of the game. So basically, as long as you don't have your email access, you're not getting it back..

Yes, I thought about all this too but BSG is the only corp. that is not even considering to do so, I'm not sure what else to tell you, we got servers from a lot of BIG games(CSGO,VALO) etc. etc. I can cry and blame BSG all day if I want but the truth is that I'm super scared about that they don't even know about this issue & if this issue don't get to them nothing is going to happen for another two years or so. I love this game and I don't want that to happen to me or anyone from my origin or anyone who depends on my origin to get better pings. I thing there should be a polling system or a system that dev's see and vote upon once a week or once a month to get these issues recongnized.

nevermind, it was just a little buggy for about 10 minutes there i was trying to get it to update with no progress and in fact it even reset the download and made me hit update again.

after about 3 minutes of being completely still it finally moved with progress i just figured it would be stalled and force restart like the first time

@vivid briar uninstall the game. Go To the top right of the screen where you see the pin. Click the pin. Download the newest update. Once downloaded, extract it in a file by your battlenet. Then go into the launcher and from there go to create a path then find the folder the download was in. Once you do that, you may have to repair the file but you should be good to go

You will need to lower your resolution or other quality to play

If you don't have that installed the launcher will literally not open

Are you running it as admin?

cancel the install and see if the launcher opens.

This should not be happening

First try disabling antivirus software and then try again. If still not reboot. And if you still get the error please open CMD as a admin and run sfc /scannow

Or open services in task manager and restart "windows installer" (or services.msc in windows start)
